Tavern in the Square is a very welcome addition to the area. They offer a diverse, homemade menu until late night.
First off, I love the little torches outside, I don’t know how they got the flames to dance like that. It’s a great, inviting, warm effect.
The interior is dark and moody, modern, clean. The tap menu is huge, along with a full bar.
The menu has bar staples like burgers (and the gochujang cornflake-breaded tenders were delicious!) as well as some more interesting worldwide cuisine, like Korean Fried Chicken and Cajun pasta. I had the latter, and it was surprisingly good for an 11pm dinner. Seasoned well, spicy, and – importantly – clearly homemade.
The prices do add up, especially if you add a salad or a drink, but comparing this to the other options which are what, Denny’s or take out pizza? It’s a no brainer.

From the food to the service, this restaurant is truly the best! They go above and beyond for those with allergies, making sure every meal is handled safely and thoughtfully. The management team is fantastic, always attentive and welcoming. We frequent the Attleboro location, and it’s hands down our favorite!

The food was good! Very busy on a Friday night. We got the chicken tenders, burgers, brussel sprouts, and caesar salad.

Loved my first visit to the bar at Tavern in the Square! Enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service was great! Our bartender, Cas, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful with suggestions. I’ll definitely be back. (Parmesan ff were absolutely delicious)

Food was very good, BUT cost was very high. I had grilled chicken Mac & cheese and water with lemon to drink . Hubby had strip steak and a beer. Cost was $75 before the tip. Beer was $12. Only negative about the restaurant was the cost. Mac & cheese was FANTASTIC!! Steak was also very good.

Came for a girls night out and the place looks realy nice but i didnt care for the selections of drinks there . I perfer hard alchohol over beer and wine and i dont care for tequila. Ordered a passionfruit margarita anyways but got a regular lime one instead . It was good tho so i didnt say nothing about it . The guac was just mashed avocado .. no hints of lime, no cilantro and no onions . For my main i had the tuscan chicken which was surprisingly very good and a big portion at a good price and i tried the cornflake chicken strips which were also really good too . Would i come back and eat here ? Probably not but would i order out or order thru doordash ? Definitely. The food and prices were really good. The place and drinks just wasnt really my vibe and thats ok

I’ve been a fan of Tavern in the Square since visiting the Cranston location, so I was thrilled to see one open right here in Attleboro — so close to home! My husband and I had such a great experience tonight. Our server, Rylee, was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely great to be around. She made sure we were comfortable, checked in at the perfect times, and gave the kind of service that makes you want to come back and request her every time.
We started with the fried pickle chips, chicken dumplings, and burrata — each one was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The fried pickles were perfectly crispy, the dumplings were savory with a great balance of seasoning, and the burrata was creamy and delicious. For our entrées, my husband’s steak was cooked perfectly and so juicy, the fries were crispy and addictive, and my General Tso’s chicken was bursting with flavor. You can tell the chef really put care into every plate. I also had two Tavern House Sangrias, which were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.
The restaurant itself was spotless, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the décor made it a very pretty place to relax and enjoy a meal. The whole vibe was fun and welcoming, and everything from the starters to the drinks and entrees hit the spot. We’ll definitely be back soon — and next time I’m bringing the family!

Absolutely fantastic! The bartenders and wait staff were so kind! Lots of drink options and the food was delicious! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked wonderful. Atmosphere was 10/10! We sat at the bar but they had high tops & booths that ranged in size that could fit the whole family!

This location appears to of had a limited menu. I visited other locations so comparing it to this location it seemed it didn’t have as big a selection or as many options. My coworker and myself had ordered two appetizers, two soft drinks and a beer and the total was already $50 before a tip. Appetizers were good but between the two of us that’s all we would want to of ordered. It was a busy night with other patrons and we still had good waitress who was attentive, so service was great. We chose to just eat what we ordered and call it a night.

Tavern in the Square is an excellent restaurant. The food is amazing and the dessert was incredible. It is very clean, and the bathroom was in much better condition than many other restaurants. The staff was very polite. I went with my husband and two children, and it was very kid-friendly. Highly reccomend.
