Midday lunch on a Friday on a random stop after shopping ended up with me here. Apps were bbq pizza and pretzels. Both were delicious depending on which you prefer. Entrees were a burger and tips. Dessert was cookie skillet and donuts. The food was beyond good especially for the price. They get bonus points for having a reward program as I did not know it was a chain. The caramel dip for the donuts was crazy. This place was top notch minus the service. It did not seem busy yet it took crazy long periods of time for our waitress to come back to the table for simple things like water or mistakes with food. She also wasn’t too pleasant until time to pay for the check. Overall this is a must go again !

This Tavern in the Square location is good, if you never want to leave. We walked in the door expecting to have a nice, normal length dinner out, but NO. After we were sat at a table, everything was going fine. There was no airflow in the restaurant, and it was rush hour, so nobody had come over yet, but that was fine. However, nobody came over for ten minutes! Then, after taking our drink and app order, the drinks came in five minutes, and the appetizers came in TWENTY. Then, after the appetizers came, our server disappeared, and took another twenty minute break until we finished our appetizers to come back and take our food orders. Then, after taking our orders, he left our table, and we didn’t have him come over again for the next HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES! He went to seemingly every table but ours. All in all, it’s a nice restaurant, and the food was good at least, but I can’t give it more than two stars because of the outrageously long time it took them to being bring out our food.

Use to be my to go place to eat after shopping. today was simply awful. I went in and asked for a table for 6 around 12pm and we did not get seated until 2pm. Turns out they seated a table for 6 who came way later then us simply cause they had a toddler. I do not care that they have a toddler, its the fact that me and other 5 people waited for 2 HOURS. Unacceptable behavior. Only good thing here were the front desk ladies. The Bayou pasta was alright, but the BBQ chicken pizza and Korean Crispy Chicken was disappointing. The BBQ chicken tasted saltier then usual and did not have much BBQ sauce. They skimped out on the portions for the Korean crispy chicken. First the chicken was smaller and the fry portions were less too. If your going to make the chicken smaller at least add more fries. The first picture is the korean crispy chicken i ordered today. The second picture is the portion size before.

Wonderful place, reserve your table ahead to make sure to reduce your waiting time. Nice and casual place. The bar is cool and you can try a lot of special cocktails and drinks. The draft beer is 10 stars

Was pumped to find a tavern within walking distance of our hotel on the way home from a Patriots game last night. Was perfect for some late-night snacks and drinks! There was one gentleman working hard and basically running the whole bar while the other two staff members were chatting and laughing quite a bit. I wish I had caught his name because he definitely deserves a shout-out for keeping things going smoothly.
The drinks were great, and for 11:30 PM, the atmosphere was lively but relaxed—several tables full of laughter and people enjoying themselves. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, which was pretty good overall. My only critique is that the corn flavor overpowered the chicken and BBQ, but it was still tasty.
Overall, it’s all great spot, and being walkable from the hotel makes it a safe and convenient choice for a night out with friends. Also quick shout out for the many gluten free options!

Went here with friends, and the atmosphere was nice and had a large bar in the middle. Service was pretty good, but one of the bartenders was hard of hearing. I would know! Drinks were good, and the mushroom and ricotta pizza were tasty. The crust was pillow soft, and the mushrooms weren’t slimy.

Over fried wings and tenders.
Two separate orders and both were forgotten in the fryer.
Tender were moist but with that over fried taste and the wings were over done. Should be golden brown.
Whats worse is the server still gave it to us. Lucky we got apps.

Another great meal at this wonderful chain. Our dumplings and brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly and my sweet potato burger was delicious. My husband’s bolognese was a bit too salty and after we told our waitress, the manager, John, came over to thank us for letting them know. Always trying to make sure food is the way it should be! Drinks were quite good and we didn’t have room for dessert. We can always count on Tavern in the Square for a wonderful experience.
