Night at the museum but instead of mannequins coming to life in an historic place, it’s the food. Chef billy brings a small menu to life whether it’s here or at peoples kitchen.

I love the authentic colonial decor here. The food and service were excellent on a recent visit. It’s a great place to go for drinks, too. Nice selection of cocktails, wine and beer.

Just ate here last Saturday. Very pleasant experience. I love the old fashion historic feel of the whole place. I thought the food was very delicious and different than what you normally get other places.

service was a little slow so they made it up with free drinks . A nice touch to a decent meal. GReat outdoor venue. I didn’t care for the grated cheese on the salad they served. shrimp was good but not a lot of them.

Wonderful restaurant located in the original, historic inn built in 1758. Located in the heart of downtown Bethlehem. Very cozy dining rooms on multiple floors.

a wonderful dining experience! homemade bread, entrees, dessert, AND drinks were all incredible, not to mention the ambience of the inn itself. absolutely worth a trip to Bethlehem to eat where many of our founding fathers once did.

Dinner had great flavor…and my 3 guests had their food properly prepared and served hot. My dinner was flavorful…but lukewarm at best. I was disappointed.

The service was horrible. It started with a hostess who couldn’t find our reserved table. Then our waitress was unfriendly and didn’t seem to know the menu. The food was bland, but ok with some salt that we needed to ask for.

Had the Rebel Burger. Definitely one of the best tasting beef in a burger that I have ever had. Well worth the price. The three dip appetizer was very tasty but did not come with enough pita and bread pieces. Charged an extra two bucks for a bit more bread. . . I don’t think they should do this when other similar priced places give all you can eat bread as part of a meal. Our group had the cheese and broccoli soups and the pumpkin squash soup. Both were great. Salads with the sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Overall, we enjoyed the food and historic tavern atmosphere. Our party of six spent $120 for evening meal before cost of beverages and desserts.
