Went here for a retirement dinner with another couple and the food and service were great. The place was packed on a Friday night and it was difficult to hear over all the background noise. This is an older building with terrible acoustics. We will go again sometime when they are less crowded.

Recently moved to the area and heard a lot about Tavern 519. So on a Sunday I decided to give it a try. The outside eating wasn’t open yet which I didn’t wanna try but nonetheless I said at the bar had a drink and ordered a bar pie. Whitney the bartender was very pleasant and friendly , though it was early afternoon the place was half full . Local atmosphere vibe to the place and being new here I knew no one but the patrons seemed to know each other.

I went there for the first time and it’s definitely making the list of places to go again. The quality of the food was excellent. I had the 519 burger cooked medium rare and a beer. The burger was done to perfection. The size of the burger was probably around 1/2 lb. The beer was brewed exclusively for the tavern and it was great. It had a very nice citrus flavor. I highly recommend the tatar tots for the side dish. My buddy had the fish taco and he said it was really good. My other buddy had the short ribs and he gave it two thumbs up. My wife had the Mediterranean chicken and it was pretty good. The portion sizes for everything was very good. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Our server was Danielle and she was great.

The staff/service was on point. I love there was always water available. The food was great- it was fresh, and flavorful. Whenever in the area again we would go back. We had fish taco which had a nice portion of fish, burger was thick and juicy, and steak cooked as asked and potatoes were really good. The tots with short rib were my favorite.

Was blown away by how well-executed the food was at Tavern 519. As with many others, had heard much about the restaurant and finally made our way there on a Sunday evening. The pan-seared salmon was cooked to perfection with a gorgeous crust and the mushroom risotto cake a savory addition to the plate. The short ribs were melt-in-your mouth tender and accompanying vegetables cooked with attention. We requested a special cocktail which the bartender executed flawlessly. Service is friendly, attentive and efficient.

Excellent first experience! Some friends told us to check out this place we’re so glad we did. Great menu selection, drinks, food and friendly service. We had a bar pie for an appetizer, summer pasta with chicken and fish taco. Thanks to our server Laurie as well as Jason and Whitney.

2nd time we have been here and the food was fantastic my wife and I both had the classic burger which was the best burgers we ever had and we shared the loaded tater tots and they were awesome as well… if you are in the area stop by and on a side note you can make reservations which we didn’t know you can do… stopped by for dinner the other night and had the Buffalo Chicken Mac and cheese which was amazing
