Really disappointing experience. We have been twice – the first time we dined in and had to wait 45 minutes for a table, totally fine as we know this place has a following but then we didn’t find out until we were seated that they had a limited menu.
We just gave it a second shot and tried to call for takeout. Their phone isn’t set up. So we went and ordered takeout at the front desk and then walked around the plaza for about 30 minutes. We went back and waited for the hostess (who took other customers who came in after us) only to be told we had to pay and pickup our food at the bar. We paid at the bar and waited another 15 minutes. The bartender (who was great) then told us our food had at the hostess table the entire time… we got home to find that one of the $18 salads we ordered is missing the grilled chicken.
I understand that they are still figuring some things out but if we do go again it won’t be until Summer when they hopefully have it together.

Long wait, as was expected since they are new. Food was delicious, service was spot on. 1 complaint i have though is the prices. $18 for 6 small coconut shrimp is wild. It either needs to be a basket of shrimp, or much cheaper. Prices seem a little inflated all around, but it was all very good.

I am so glad they are back and they did a beautiful job.I wouldn’t have went yet if I knew they didn’t have a full menu. The food and service was good, a little pricey for a wrap. They need to do something about the noise though. You can not hear the people you are dining with. I wish there was a wall between the bar area and the dining by the window. When I go out to dinner I like to relax, and enjoy it. It was hard with the noise.

Currently a limited menu. I had the shaved prime rib sandwich that was simply outstanding and should be a staple on the menu. Wife had chicken Caesar sandwich wrap. It was good as expected. She also gets coleslaw as her side which I also tried and it was very good.
Super friendly team of servers, bussers, etc. looking forward to the full menu. Will be on our regular rotation of restaurants.

Tavern 265 is awesome! A group of us went for Dinner and to watch the Superbowl during their soft opening. We were so happy to see so many friendly & familiar faces 🙂 The place is warm, welcoming and beautifully done. There are lots of TVs that can be viewed from everywhere. The bar is absolutely gorgeous and there is also plenty of comfortable seating all around. We loved the menu and everything we ordered was delicious. We are so excited, it’s like coming home again!

Wow, what a really good meal!. Had the prime rib, asked Alicia our server if it was rare, she checked with kitchen and confirmed to me it was. Also, the baby back ribs were excellent. It was extremely busy and our server Alicia was very very good. The kitchen plated our food in a reasonable time. If you want a excellent meal give them a try!..

So far, so amazing! We’ve all been looking forward to the opening of Tavern 265—especially after a certain local restaurant that starts with “H” and ends with “sham” has gone downhill—and it did not disappoint.
The calamari is fantastic. I love the addition of feta cheese and banana peppers; it’s a great touch. The smash burgers are a must-have, and the fish and chips had a perfectly light, crispy batter.
I’m definitely looking forward to trying more items on the menu. As a local, I’m excited to have this spot in town and hope to see the same consistency going forward.
