We decided to give Tavern 24 a try and it was okay. The fries were all just okay. The cheese curds were over cooked, greasy, and almost all had exploded during the frying process-so it wasn’t optimal. The buffalo wings had good flavor. The rangoon were so over cooked they had lost most of the filling and taste as though they are just deep frying previously cooked then frozen ones.
The high point for this experience was the fish + chips. I’m being kind by giving it 3 stars, because we opted for carry out and that can impact food. The majority of the food was subpar or just okay.
We ordered food for five people. We spent just under a hundred dollars and it just wasn’t worth it for the quality. I’d assume it’s probably a better experience in person and I’m being generous by boosting my inclination to give a two star rating up to a three star. We probably won’t be going back again.

Update 4/26/25 ordered take out discovered they NOW CHARGE $1 extra for take out! They don’t bother mentioning this you have to look at the receipt. As for the receipt, if you pay in cash, they don’t give e you back receipt, so you have to check receipt BEFORE you pay. Also, this time, as well as the last 2 times that I have been there, the meat was TERRIBLE! NOW MOSTLY FAT. 1st time we were here, mashed potatoes were cold. However, they were replaced when it was mentioned. were so hot and delicious. The dark-haired stocky waitress was unfriendly and downright rude. When asked about take out menus. Thank goodness she was not our waitress. The 2nd time we went, we got take out. Asked for no pickles as we were allergic and received pickles buried in food. Ask for sauce on the side, and it was only put on food. Which made it soggy with the sauce and pickles by the time we got home. Ask for and paid for extra gravey last time and failed to get it! Another time asked for mashed potatoes to go did not get them. Called they said to come in and they would replace. So went in later that week and also ordered another meal. I told them about the missing mashed potatoes the last time and that they were free. Some ended up paying again! I am starting to believe they are ripping you off on purpose to save money. They will not sub anything that comes with the meal. You can ask for them not to include what you don’t want, but they will not give you a replacement. Most meals are between $14 & $15 per person w/o tax. With tax around $18-$20 person. You do get a decent amount of food for your money. They have a glass rolling garage door that rolls up to the patio area. In cooler weather, it can get chilly as it lets in a lot of air. They have a few tables with regular chairs, howeverer most are high tables with tall bar stool type chairs. It’s not great for anyone with mobility issues. Pregnant bar tender is to busy flirting with people ordering alcohol that she does not notice when food is up and you are waiting for it. Then, when she does notice, she can’t remember who it goes to , so she sits it in front of several people (which is not sanitary) until they tell her it’s not theirs! Will NOT be recommending or going back anytime in the near future. Service from dark haired short heavy girl unless your a regular is basically non-existent!

I will never spend another dollar of my hard earned money here after receiving the food I got from my last visit. This is the second time I’ve gotten burnt food from Tavern 24. This last time was just like they didn’t care at all. Bad part is they had the nerve to flip it over so I wouldn’t see. Got it home and…. Just take a look at the pictures. People work to hard for their money to spend it on an unacceptable experience. Never again will Tavern 24 get my business!!

This used to be our go to place. But recently our food has either been overcooked, or undercooked. We received 2 raw cheeseburgers, did a redelivery, and again both burgers were raw. I called up there, there, and there was no manager on duty, and I was supposed to get a call back. No one called me back. I think we are done ordering from here. This is the 3rd time we have received overcooked or undercooked food. Every one has an off day. But 3 strikes, you’re out. Not worth the money, or headache.

We got a carry out order of bar snacks here, and everything we got was delicious! I can not comment on the service and atmosphere since it was a to go order that was delivered to my home. I can say that the pretzel bites and cheese curds I had were excellent! The pretzel bites had a dipping cheese sauce that was very good also. The cheese curds were breaded in a crispy crust and had marinara dipping sauce. My friend ordered a burger and could not finish it all in one setting. We will definitely order again.

Delicious food! The vibe is really nice there, the service is pretty good & when we told them the food was good the cook came out as well. Lol super friendly place, they have pool & darts, music playing the whole time. Will be coming in again soon !

I’m a Dasher and don’t hang out at lounges any longer but if I was a younger man, I probably would have stopped by here for a few cold ones
The atmosphere is loud but you can still here yourselves take to each other.
I have had too much of a problem picking up orders here but there have been a few times where I’ve had to wait for ten to fifteen minutes past the due time to pick up orders.
The last time I picked up orders here I had to finally cancel and move on. I politely asked a woman behind the bar how much longer it might be before my food would be ready? She kinda’ looked irritated that I asked her about it. She said, “It’ll be ready when it’s ready, honey. Then I’ll bring it to you.”
Evidently there’s been Dashers who must have upset this woman but I certainly haven’t been one of them.
It was a bad experience for me, that’s for sure.

Nice place, bar atmosphere with pool tables and darts.. The waitresses were awesome, very informative and nice! I took my son for his 21st birthday dinner. He also had a Cherry limeade, with cherry vodka. The food is fantastic. I had the Rueban sandwich with onion rings. You get a big portion for the money. I will recommend this place to anyone.
