Pretty sweet bar. The bartender made a great old fashioned and my friends lemon drop was great too. A bunch of bar games here like darts, pool, shuffle board and even corn hole and ping pong.

If you’re looking for a place with a great menu, amazing atmosphere and great customer service, then this would have been the place to come to two years ago. That was until they slashed their four page menu in half, removed most of the good items and doubled their prices. Then they did it again–at least regarding slashing their menu in half. The Sellwood Public House is but a ghost of its former self; the walls mostly bare and the local bar/pub feel has been replaced with a sterile and dead environment. The once delicious food now a deep fried frozen product from a plastic bag.

Horrendous food. I had the eggs Benedict, BF ordered a chicken club and an oyster shooter. BF ate the side salad and took one bite of the sando but couldn’t stomach the rest. The veg was wilted to the point of being slimy, like they had taken the whole assembled sando and slapped it under a broiler. The chicken breast was dry. My eggs Benedict would have been fine except that the hollandaise sauce tasted more like nacho cheese from a can and was also stone cold which made everything else tepid. The eggs were a little more undercooked than I would have liked but not inedible. The hash browns were extra crispy and we enjoyed those. The oyster shooter didn’t come until after we had finished eating. Dark, dank, nasty food…never again.

For the good: Fun place! Lots of games. The food was delicious, and their menu is very approachable. Good selection of taps, and very reasonable pricing. Free pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, etc. Lots of screens including a couple big projectors.
And the not so good: Their board/card game selection is a little lacking, the game tables and dart boards are a little too close together, and the arcade games are not free, which was a little misleading from the information on their website.
All in all, it’s a nice place to go when you want a bit of variety from the same old bar routine.

Came here for a friend’s birthday. Really cool place. Had a lot of games and pool tables. It even has a shuffle board! The price on drinks were decent and the food was good. We ordered a huge pizza which was pretty awesome.

This is hands down one of my favorite public houses around. The staff is always friendly and I’ve been going here for 10 years it seems.
Their beer selection is fantastic and their food is really good too!

I love this place! Came in for a beer on a random day and have been coming back ever since. The food is great, the bartender who always wears dresses (I think her name is Jessica) was so friendly and professional that I instantly knew this would be my new spot! The ambiance is great and so is the crowd! I would highly recommend a visit to anyone considering! Cheers!

We have been coming here on and off for ten years now. I’ve held my birthday party here, come for date night of fish tacos, drinks and darts. My husband held mastermind meetings here monthly for several years. We’ve brought family and friends. We really enjoy this place.
It changed hands about a year ago maybe. Still great, but we did notice slight changes. I miss the house made infused liquor since I don’t drink beer (GF) and we really miss the oyster shooters. But even the original owners had stopped serving them. I suspect the price fluctuates with the season etc. Otherwise, the atmosphere and menu hasn’t changed much at all.

Great place to bar game with friends, they have one pool table,one ping pong (no one cares if you suck) table and more then a dozen dart boards. Food is typically bar fare with flare, not much for gluten free or vegan but there are options. The staff is funny, musically inclined, and friendly.
