The inside is pretty cute and it’s nice to see people gathering together and what not.
We went on a Tuesday late morning and it was pretty busy. Lots of people doing coffee chats and some doing some work. Yeah a convivial atmosphere if i may say.
I ordered a pistachio latte with oat milk and a double shot. This was good. My companion ordered the honey cardamom latte with oat milk, I thought this was less good.
Disappointed that they don’t offer any vegan options in terms of pastries. Sad!
Also there might have been a mixup in the back because the dish that my latte was served on was pretty sticky and dirty, before I had even used it, slightly off putting but ignorable.
Overall I’d like to come back when it’s warmer. The patio looks nice. I would say it looks pretty exposed to the business of the Pike. It might be nice to make it more enclosed from the noise somehow. Just a thought!

Visited this location for the first time having been to the Bethesda location before. They’re similar in layout and design but the Bethesda location has much better energy given its city setting. Service was prompt, the mango tea chiller ($5) needed a bit more ice but was fine. The kabob sandwich ($14) was exemplary. Lamb meatballs, lots of tomato and cucumber, arugula and just the right amount tzatziki sauce. I’d come just for that.

A spacious coffee shop with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The interior has a clean white marble and wood theme, which makes it feel modern but still cozy. In the center of the café there’s a bakery display along with the coffee machines and the register, which keeps everything feeling open and lively.
They offer the usual espresso drinks as well as signature coffee options, plus breakfast and sandwich items. I ordered a hot café latte with whole milk, but it showed up on the screen as a honey latte with oat milk. I asked for it to be corrected, and the staff fixed it. I was given a table number and my drink was brought out to me. I wasn’t entirely sure whether the final drink had regular whole milk, as the taste was a bit unclear.
During the morning I visited, the café stayed consistently busy, with a mix of regulars and first-time customers like myself. Overall, it seems like a popular neighborhood spot with a pleasant atmosphere and a solid menu.

I was going to order coffee. I’ve been to Tatte location before in Bethesda, and food is amazing. But this was my first time going here to the Rockville one once I saw this I walked out. This was the only picture I got but there were fruit flies all over the other pastries. I do recommend trying somewhere else. It was kinda sad that none of the employees paid attention and they were just gathered in the front talking. The place itself is pretty.

Glad they opened a location in Rockville! Been to several of their locations. Space is large but does fill up quick, so get there early if you want a table. I like their breakfast/brunch menu. Got the house breakfast plate. This has two over medium eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes. Their breakfast sandwich is also good- I sub mine with their croissant instead of sourdough bread.
My daughters like their Greek style pancakes and sweet French toast.
Couldn’t leave without getting their pistachio Croissant and vanilla sugar donuts.

This cafe is absolutely adorable. Insanely delicious pastries, delicious matcha. The staff were absolutely excellent as well. Would recommend coming here if you like Korean style cafes 🙂

Classy cafè in Rockville MD, open since January 2025. Good variety of coffee and tasty food options, several of which are gluten-friendly. Tatte is part of a chain that originated in Boston MA. Nice black & white decor. It can be chilly inside.

I absolutely loved this place—such a great addition to the neighborhood! When we arrived, it was busy, but the staff at the front was super helpful. Since we were a large group, we got to try a variety of items, and everything was delicious!
The pistachio croissant was the standout—flaky, buttery, and full of flavor. We also had the pistachio latte, coffee mousse cake, French toast, breakfast croissant, chocolate croissant, and more. Every bite was perfection!
I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Great to have our favorite cafe in town, finally! We are a big fan of tatte back from our Boston days, and we had been in their first location at Copley square. After moving to Rockville, we really missed Tatte. We visited few of their DC locations and the Bethesda one. And finally this outlet opened in a location just five minutes away from our home. Really loved their baked goodies and coffee. They have an excellent brunch menu, and don’t forget the soups. Plenty of parking around it.

Cozy place to hang out after work or to work from cafe. A bit busy-crowd feeling with people chatting, laugh, passing by. It’s a place where community get together.
