I really enjoyed the Black Sesame Latte. The flavor was rich, nutty, and not overly sweet — very smooth and well balanced. You can tell it’s thoughtfully made.
Loved the presentation too. The latte art on top was beautifully done in a leaf pattern, which was a nice touch and made the drink feel extra special.
Great spot to relax with a quality coffee. I’d definitely order the black sesame latte again

Tatte is a beautiful spot with great atmosphere and consistently delicious food. The pastries are always fresh, the coffee is smooth, and the brunch menu has some really standout items. Everything feels high-quality, and the presentation is always impressive.
The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that it can get pretty crowded and a bit pricey for what you get. During busy hours, finding a seat or getting your order quickly can be hit-or-miss.
Still, the overall experience is great — cozy vibe, excellent pastries, and a perfect place to relax or get some work done. Definitely one of my go-to cafés when I’m in the area.

Wow this restaurant is impressive. It has an excellent open feel and a great ambience. You can get coffee and chat with a friend. They have lots of pastries available but you need to ask for them to toast it for you or reheat it and it would taste better. We got the passion fruit pastry, It was just okay. The sashouka with lamb meatballs was pretty good and served with plenty of bread to soak up the tomato sauce. It is served with three meatballs and two eggs. We also got the salmon, egg, avocado and alfalfa sprout sandwich which was really delicious. The scrambled eggs with prosciutto and Parmesan was delicious.
The lamb kebab platter is just okay. The lamb kebab lacks flavor and it is served with labneh, hummus and baba ganoush and pita bread. I probably would not recommend this platter due to the lack of flavor and juiciness of the kebabs.
The roasted salmon sandwich was delicious. It was more like a fried salmon rather than roasted and it was crispy on the outside and just perfectly cooked on the inside. It is a light and tasty sandwich. Highly recommend it.
Breakfast croissant sandwich was very tasty as well with the delicate fresh croissant and all the flavors come together nicely.
Coffee is also very good here and espresso drinks as well. They have a very interesting menu and lots of a new items that we would be excited to come back and try.

New Tatte location in Fairfax. The restaurant is very clean and bright with ample seating. They have many pastry options and different coffees. The coffee is good and doesn’t have the burnt taste that some coffee shops struggle with. I tried the tiramisu and it wasn’t the best. The layers were a bit too soggy and didn’t have the nice coffee flavor I was expecting. I’ll try a different baked good next time as there are a lot of options that looked really good. The service was good and I am glad there’s a new bakery/coffee shop option in the area.

This new Tatte Bakery & Cafe in Fairfax’s Kamp Washington shopping center is a fantastic addition between Shake Shack and COX. We’re excited to have Tatte close by for their excellent coffee, baked goods, and brunch.
We enjoyed delicious pastries, outstanding coffee, and healthy breakfast sandwiches during our visit. Tatte consistently delivers top-notch quality, and this location is no exception.
A special thanks to Alison for her exceptional customer service!

This is a lovely brunch option for a lazy sunday morning! A very different and varied menu. We got the lamb hash, Prosciutto and Parmesan Egg plate, Lamb meatball shakshuka, orange upside down cake, and monkey bread. All dishes were tasty and served quickly.
We’ve alreadsy earmarked items for our second visit!

This place is overpriced for nothing. I got the horse radish sandwich and my girlfriend got the broccoli and hummus on pita. First of all, she had no hummus, second we both had tiny sandwiches for ~$14 before tax, thirdly my gf sandwich tasted like garbage to the point my dog didn’t even get near it, fourthly there was no seasoning on my sandwich so I only tasted horse radish and very generously cooked ribs, fifthly and worst of all to me my sandwich was cut diagonally but somehow opposite on each side so all the contents just fell out. Now under normal conditions an opposite cut sandwich is an oddity but fine. However, I have a sneaking suspicion they didn’t cut the bread before putting the food on and rather just heated up the food or bread instead of using fresh ingredients. Even if that’s not true, I couldn’t care less if the food just sucked anyways. Someone make this place better, PLEASE.

Tried the seasonal salmon rice bowl and carrot cake (so moist) and both dishes bursting with flavor. Would come again to study or with friends. Only issue was the outlets/plugs at the bar tables did not work.

Came with high hopes but very disappointed.
Honey halva latte tastes bland. None of the flavor notes as they stated on the menu. Cortado tasted burnt.
Desserts are over priced for the taste. Raspberry pavlova tasted like cream and fruit on over baked meringue cookie instead of the soft crumbly pavlova you’d expect. The matcha bomb taste like over whipped cream with very sour fruit filling in the middle. Lastly the pistachio croissant is very dry with little to no pistachio flavor.
Atmosphere is good: very “Instagram-ish” vibe and the service is nice. Good place to come take pictures for a post but that’s it.
