Classical French cooking served in a quaint, white-tablecloth dining room with a sizable wine list.

Tatsu’s is a wonderful culinary experience. It is elegant and understated. In every detail, haute cuisine is noticeable. The staff are friendly and very professional, the food is excellent, tasty and served directly. The presentation is beautiful. The wine list is quite impressive and they even offer a few decent options by the glass. Then there are the desserts. They are quite simply out of this world. Dont share get your own. I included pictures of a few of my favorite items ( their pictures but the food looks like this). This wonderful little place quietly, elegantly fulfills.

Incredibly retro! The dining room is like stepping back in time. You shouldn’t feel intimidated coming here for a quick lunch or an evening out. It’s fine dining in the sense of the classical respect to food, without it being haughty. The people that serve are genuinely all about making your experience as comfortable and hospitable as possible. If you want to experience time travel, go here. They haven’t changed the menu in 40 years and it’s simply because it doesn’t need to. Anyone going to culinary school should dine here to show what the classic techniques are supposed to look like in action.

Amazing. Been coming here for years. Never disappointed, and I always buy a bottle of salad dressing before we leave.

The Chilean sea bass and Beef bourguignon were both delicious, along with a very nice Bordeaux. Also enjoyed the romaine salad with the house dressing.

We came to celebrate our November birthdays. The restaurants’ interior needs renovation mostly the decor. The service was very professional. As to the food, we ate a crab soup that was good but not very good, the avocado salad with crab meat had hardly any crab meat in it. The scallops were excellent. All three beef entrees were very good as was the duck breast. The rack of lamb was not done enough in my opinion but was good. The deserts did not reach our expectations but maybe Souffles are not our favorite dessert. All in all the restaurant’s food was good but not the best cuisine in the area.

My second time going to Tatsu’s was amazing. I had such a great time with friends and the food was fantastic. The first time I went many years back I took my mother and it was also amazing. The chef even came out to tell my mother happy birthday. The food was fresh, healthy, and delicious. If there was any bad review on the food, they are probably used to the salty, greasy food you get at any of the chain restaurants around. Any bad review on the atmosphere, not sure what you are expecting, this isn’t France, you are coming here for the unique cuisine not the décor. Any bad review on the service… get a life Karen. Service was great. Things don’t always come the second you want them. Our server paced the meal very well and did her best to read when we wanted the next course. Very rare service quality to time each course.

Food is PHENOMENAL. I could not recommend the sea scallop dish more highly; the sauce was so delicious I was soaking my bread in it so I could have more after eating all the scallops. The veal liver was also very good but I just can’t stop thinking about that scallop sauce!
Service was also very good and attentive, everyone was very friendly, but they need to be a little careful about what they say in the kitchen because the closest tables can hear them. I will definitely still be back though

The food is consistently amazing. Their salad dressing makes me want to eat romaine and carrots all day. The decor and ambiance is very unassuming, but don’t let it fool you! We’ve been wowed with every meal and have now been there three times since discovering it. The chef clearly puts his heart into the food!

We had an excellent experience here. The service was absolutely top-notch. Our waitress was attentive, informative, and overall provided great service. We share the Brie appetizer, which is quite tasty, but at the same time not overly heavy as it was paired with some fruit in addition to toast to spread the brie on. I had to beef tenderloin while my wife had the scallops and both of our dishes turn down fantastic. Finally, we had the souffle which was light and creamy and extremely delicious. Will definitely come back in the future to try some different dishes.
PS: you can buy the dressing that they use to make the house salad.

Everything was perfect, good portion size, amazing flavor, and everything came out in a timely manner. I wish they paired wine with your meal but then again I didn’t ask, nor do I know much about wine, they have a good sized list of wine selections. The crab soup is amazing!
