Great people!! The owner clearly loves what she does by the way she cooks her food! I ordered a salmon rice bowl and I must say that is my absolute favorite! I always order my mom the Big Sis salad !

Let’s start with the positive. The food was good with huge portions. Not fantastic. But good. Others in my party said theirs was great, but mine was just good. The establishment was clean.

Now, for the rest.
From the moment we walked in, it was clear we were NOT welcome and the waitress/hostess/cashier/whatever (hereby will be referred to as “the lady”) clearly did not enjoy her job. We were “greeted” with…nothing. No smile, no greeting, no “how can I help”, no “whatcha want”, NOTHING. We ordered, with zero acknowledgement from the lady, and that was that. Oh, I asked for a cup of water and she said “we have bottles”. And…THAT was it.
The atmosphere was completely unwelcoming. There were tall tables and tall chairs, but all pushed against the wall in a “don’t sit here” fashion. Two of our party of 4 decided we were indeed going to dine in, so we pushed some stuff together and made it work. After a considerable wait, the lady announced from her station that our food was ready, and motioned for us to come get it from her….4 different times over about 20 minutes, as it was all prepared one at a time apparently. Despite us literally sitting and clearly “dining in”, the food was served in Styrofoam boxes and in plastic bags.

The cherry on top though was the utensils. My son and I needed forks for our food (as one typically does for a meal…….). There was a pack of utensils placed in each of our to-go bags, with a knife, spoon, napkin AND A HOLE where someone very clearly removed the forks for other patrons. I won’t even bother with sanitary comments, but, the absurdity was just ridiculous. After waiting a good 10 minutes for the lady to reappear, we asked for forks and were promptly told they were in the bag as she retreated. We had to yell to get her attention back and tell her they were indeed, not in the bag. We eventually got forks.

I’ll concede that it’s clearly a take-out venue (at least, it’s obvious in person…online, it’s marketed as dine in or take out) so the plastic bags and lack of seating can be forgiven. But, the lack of hospitality and professionalism are absolutely unacceptable. If the experience was better, I’d consider eating there again. But based on this experience, absolutely never ever again. Such a shame since the food was good-ish and had potential.

This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. When I got there, I couldn’t decide what I wanted so I ordered the Samon and Spinach Potatoe, Southwest Shrimp Salad, Shrimp Boil, and Delux Fruit Salad. The ingredients were fresh (fresher than many of the grocery stores), portions are large enough for 2 people, staff was very friendly, and prices are reasonable. My only problem was that my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Update: All to go orders must now be paid over the phone. There are no exceptions for those of us who regularly order from here. I either have to give my card information over an unsecure line or pay in person and wait for 15-20 minutes for my order to get ready. I enjoy the food, but I won’t be back.

OMG! The hearty servings are outstanding!! Each dish was made with care and love. I had a delicious order of the chicken and broccoli. The ingredients were well organized for a balanced taste that danced on my palate.

I also had a scrumptious deluxe fruit bowl. The fruit was fruit was fresh and the topping added to the succulent taste.

This was my first time and it definitely will not be my last. The customer service was wonderful and helpful.

This place is a hidden gem. Do not underestimate the quality meal that you receive, very tasty and beautiful. They make their own dressings, along with plenty to choose from on their menu. The vibe when you walk in is warm and welcoming by a business led by women. Excellent spot!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Tater Saladz. My wife picked up lunch for me and paid extra for several toppings, but when I opened my salad, it was completely wrong and missing all those extras.

When my wife called the restaurant to resolve the issue, she was told to come back the next day for a remake. However, when she arrived, the woman we believe is the owner flatly denied honoring what her son had promised. Not only did she refuse to issue a refund, but she also handed my wife a tiny side salad with just three shrimp on it—barely what we had paid for.

This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially from a local business in our neighborhood. I can’t express how frustrated and let down we feel. We will not be returning to Tater Saladz, and I will be encouraging my neighbors—many of whom work at the hospital—to avoid this establishment as well. It’s disappointing to see such poor service and dishonesty from a local business.

Avoid Tater Saladz unless you want to deal with awful customer service and broken promises.

My overall experience at Tatersalads with not very good. We were on a road trip and stopped in for lunch because they had vegan options. The few tables they have we’re only set up for two at a table. We were able to move a table, but they didn’t have four short chairs, only three, so the grandson sat in a tall chair. The girl that took our order didn’t welcome us or thank us us or do much else other than grunt and tell us our total. My friend ordered a chef salad. On the board I said it was $10, but she was charged $11.95. when she asked about it the girl just grunted at her and handed her her receipt. Didn’t explain or anything. Three of us ordered water not being told ahead that it was only bottled water that cost $1.35. On a positive note, my food was absolutely delicious! I had the Southwest bowl minus the cheese and sour cream to have a vegan option. At first I was concerned because there was no sauce, but it was very delicious I would definitely order it again, if I chose to ever go back there. Our meals were given to us in bags. Obviously they did not want us to stay and eat there yet we have no choice since we were traveling.
