Great breakfast/lunch spot! Clean and family friendly. Parking and entrance are located in the back. Was greeted right at the door by Christian. The server was Maria, excellent service. It was almost 10 am. when I arrived, so the crowd was just starting to roll in. Seating is spacious and accommodating, even for large groups. The mimosa and latte were delicious I had the eggs and potatoes with chicken sausages. (Sausages were burnt near perfect!) And the specialty pancake sampler! Peach cobbler, blueberry, pecan, and banana. Each comes with its on flavored butter. They were a bit cold when they came to the table but tasty nevertheless. Peach cobbler was my favorite. Would definitely recommend. 8.9/10

HIGHLY recommend! Was looking for a good breakfast/brunch place as it was our first time in the area. You can tell the owner really cares about the place, and the service was very friendly. I had the meat lovers burrito, and I definitely would get it again! The entrance is a little hidden, but once you enter into the restaurant, you realize it’s a hidden gem. Also recommend the different beverages – had the tata latte, which was like a warm, sweet hug in a mug.

Love this little hidden gem. Breakfast/brunch. The chilaquiles and the enfrijoladas are absolutely delicious and I am very picky with my food. The lattes are some of the best I’ve ever had.

Went to have brunch here with my daughter. We were excited to try this new spot because we used to come here when it was a pupuseria. Our server quickly rushed to us to get our drinks but we hadn’t received or got a chance to even look at the menu yet. It was our first time there so our server explained to us that the menu pops up on our phones with the electronic menu they have on the wall and we couldn’t get it to worked so she took our phones to do it for us with an attitude like if it was such an inconvenience to her. We obviously weren’t ready to preset our drinks so She left to the table next to us and quickly, like very quickly like 30 seconds I swear , came back to take our drinks , she seem very impatient and frustrated. She impatiently was standing there while we were looking at the menu to select a drink, so we just order whatever came to mind because she was so impatient . I wish she would’ve brought some water in the mean time because I was looking forward to trying a specialty drink .When she came back to take our order she stand in front of us, she just gave us a stare down and didn’t even ask if we were ready she was just standing in front of us with a bad attitude and with a look like are you ready or not . We had never been here before so I would’ve expected a friendly “ are you ready to order , do you need a little bit more time ? No problem take your time “ I am so disappointed that we had a bad experience. I do have to say that she kinda caught herself being rude so she tried to change her attitude. I feel bad for the worker I sympathize their position because being a server is not easy but we weren’t trying to be difficult. I really wanted to love this place but customer service is everything. !! I will not put her name on here because I wouldn’t want her to loose her job maybe she was just having a bad day idk but I just didn’t give her a tip because she didn’t deserve one. I just hope they get better training . The one star goes towards their service not the food . The food was good .

We recently visited Tata’s Cafe in Hawthorne, California and had the pleasure of trying their delicious chilaquiles! We sampled both the red sauce and green sauce versions, and hands-down the green sauce was our favorite. The chilaquiles were overflowing with flavor, freshly prepared, and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, so there was plenty of food to go around. All of the ingredients were top notch and you could tell they had been sourced from local suppliers. The atmosphere at Tata’s Cafe was laid back but inviting – a perfect place to spend a relaxed weekend brunch with friends or family.

In case you’re not familiar with this place (like me), I can ensure that you will have a very pleasant gastronomic journey The menu is rich with all kinds of good looking, large sized, super tasty meals. The matcha was absolutely fantastic. The staff is friendly and skilled. So if you’re hungry – don’t think, get in!
