We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday around 4:30 PM. The place is spacious, clean, and had a nice, quiet atmosphere since it wasn’t too busy at that time. Everything smelled clean and fresh, which I appreciated.

Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and took my food allergies seriously. I told her I’m allergic to shrimp and don’t like spicy food, and she made sure every dish was separated and safe for me.

We ordered several items to share. The miso soup was a bit salty for my taste and could’ve used a little more miso, but it was fine. The pork dumplings had good filling, though the wrapper was a little chewy. The tuna nachos were our favorite-very good. The calamari was okay, but the portion felt small for the price. My husband enjoyed all of his dishes with no complaints.

Overall, we had a positive experience: good service, pleasant environment, and tasty food. We would definitely return.

Oh man! It’s been awhile since I stumbled upon a 10 out of 10 place and this one checked all the boxes! We discovered this restaurant by chance while traveling and it looked cozy on a cold windy night. I could type for an hour about what made it great, but let’s cut to the chase.. this is the BEST ramen I have ever had! I’m talking as close to a trip to Japan you might get! The Tonkotsu broth was thick and creamy. The fat from the pork belly and broth glazed the chewy noodles. The dish had so many dazzling elements and distinguished flavors! Smokey and savory are a couple. The Ajitsuke Tamago(ramen egg)was perfectly marinated and the yolk was velvety with a tinge of jam. That was the highlight of the dish! The red bell pepper was a unique and pleasant surprise that brightened the dish! Don’t sleep on the ramen here!
I also have to recommend the spicy tuna appetizer. It has deliciously crispy rice cakes stacked like a tower with the freshest tuna, avacado and sauces. It’s finished with thin crunchy wonton strips. So much texture, so much flavor! This place is a must stop a d we can’t wait to get back to it. Worth a 2 hour trip for sure!

Very nice and loved the bogo half off. The server was very nice and respectful. He had a lot of patience and gave us time without rushing us. The Thai tea was very delicious. The sushi was very fresh and tasty with every bite. It’s one of my favorite sushi places to go. Very nice atmosphere and not to overcrowded.

I was in a party of about 14 people. Our server handled us very well. I ordered sushi and an entrée. Crazy Donkey and Sumo(SS) are the sushi rolls that I ordered. Both were a great pick. My choice of entrée was Tasu House Fried Rice. It was super great. One of the better fried rice dishes I’ve ever had. The addition of the Chinee BBQ Pork in it really amps the flavor up. Too bad I don’t live near by. I would order food from here regularly if I could. The fountain soda was alright also.

My favorite sushi place in Raleigh. Not over priced. Always consistent. We always get dumplings, wonton soup, and a bunch of rolls to share! Florida roll is my go-to. We also like the Crazy, Outer Banks, Fiesta, and the volcano roll. If you’re ever in Durham their sister restaurant, Shiki, is nice too!

I made the mistake of ordering take out from Tasu, and was let down and frustrated by the steep prices for their low quality food. To begin with, the chicken ramen that I ordered for take out smelt, tasted, and looked like toilet water. Next, the chicken must have been a couple days. Lastly, I paid for extra chili oil which I did not receive in my order. I took a couple bites and ended up throwing away the $40 worth of ramen because it was inedible. I ended up at Publix and bought the 49 cent ramen which was 10x better.

Had a wonderful time here. Brier Creek is always super popular but we were lucky to find apt parking on a Saturday. Vermicilli springs rolls are pictured as is the Hot & Sour soup and the drunken noodles with steamed tofu. I ordered the vermicilli.

Great experience, great service. First timer to this establishment. Bellied up to the bar, had a cold Asahi, perused the menu, and found a great lunch for my partner and I.

Edith was tending bar. She was quick to serve, always smiling and happy, answered all my questions and took good care of me and the other guests. She is a credit to this establishment. Please recognize her for her excellent work.

We ordered the Panang Curry with Tofu and a side of Brown Rice, a Sushi Deluxe, a Spicy Tuna Hand Roll with a couple of Miso Soups. Sorry no pics, we dove right in. Flavors were great, portions were just right.

If you’re dining in or grabbing take out, we would recommend this fine restaurant to anyone looking to grab a bite alone or gather with friends. Well laid out with lots of options and great service.

Great menu selection. I came here looking for sushi and the menu in this section is pretty good. The individual rolls are on the high side if you’re dining alone. I opted for the regular sushi dinner because it gave a good variety and I could take leftovers back to the hotel.

veeeeery quiet when I went. amazing staff, but the atmosphere was not my favorite. i sat in a kinda enclosed room with barely any windows, but the other seating looked much better. the bathrooms were also kinda ehhh. the food was pretty good, not my favorite, but still passable.
