TLDR: first-timers and this place is awesome.
First, the line is nuts. Plan to wait 30 mins+ on the weekend in the summer. Also – worth it.
The portions are crazy and the prices for everything are so fair. Is this even real?!?!? Their namesake tshirts are $15. But the food prices are even better. We got fried cauliflower on a recommendation from the group in front of us in line. It was $6 and a very healthy portion. We also got a chicken and cheese quesadilla. We got the full size for $11 and there were two full quesadillas! Everything was piping hot. We walked back to our cottage to eat and it was still too hot to hold when we got back. The ice cream is also delicious. I got the Rush Hour, Sea turtle and black raspberry chocolate chip. All were awesome but the black raspberry and sea turtle were my favs.
10/10 recommend and see why it’s so beloved.

This is worth the wait! Large portions, great prices and they have gluten free Oreos. As someone who used to love oreo shakes from Sonic and Jack in Box and can no longer eat gluten, this made my day. Best little ice cream place we’ve ever been to and we’ve been some of the top rated ice cream places across the country. Definitely worth the wait, even when there is a line out the door.
Recently found out they have gluten free chicken strips, will definitely be back to try those as well!

It’s a tradition that we come here every year, while we are in town for our family reunion. They have delicious food and ice cream! They have soooo many choices here!! The outside seating provides shade, is very convenient, and set up very nice also!

It’s always great but this time my medium cone was smaller than my wife’s small cone
They did offer to add more but since it still was more than I needed I said this was fine. My wife still insisted I get the larger one, so I did take the bigger one since it had nuts on it. we will always go back, love them.

I was just there yesterday, had the Lake City Wrap with the deep fried pickles and as usual, like all summer long last year, they have great food of course the most ice cream, but the best people that work there they work hard in this heat. Another summer down and another fantastic job at keeping up with their customers
