I haven’t been to the Tasty Spot Cafe in a while, and my friend suggested going there for breakfast today. We both ordered the western breakfast of Combo G with Grilled New York Steak with two eggs & toast + spam rice macaroni in soup. It also came with a free drink. My friend requested medium rare to medium of her New York steak, and I requested mine for medium. Guess what, both of our N.Y. steaks were all well-done. They did not have any pink color in the center, and they were cooked through. The texture of the steak was chewy with a rubbery tendon. We did not like it. The toast and eggs were okay, but the rice macaroni in soup was bland taste. I did not realize that it should have spam (on the menu), but it was replaced with tiny pieces of ham. However, the service was great and attentive. The server also helped us to refill our drinks. I wish they would improve the food quality because there are many HK food cuisines in the area.

Delicious Food Corner is one of the places I keep coming back. Not only do they have delicious entrees but their appetizers are what keep me coming back. I usually head over to their other location in the city but I wanted to give this one a try since it is even closer to work and much more accessible to me.

Now let’s get on to the food!!

HK Style Bun – this bun is just mad amazing, When the bun is hot and toasty paired with the cold butter just the best combo you can imagine. It definitely helps open up the stomach for more food

Beef Chow Fun – I am just a sicker for Chow Fun something about the flat noodles based in soy sauce just gets me all the time. I had the egg scrambled on top but doesn’t give the same type of texture as the regular. I recommend getting this and using their homemade spicy sauce which makes this even tastier!

I also ordered the chicken/pork steak (grilled mixed steak) as this is one of the stables I get at most Cantonese restaurants. Their black pepper sauce is really peppery and sweet in every bite. my recommendation is to get it on the side so you can dip as much as you like.

Service:
We had a pretty large group and we expected to have some delays in food as we can imagine how many things we ordered. But the staff was just amazing, they got our orders right away and when we needed our time they didn’t rush us. on top of that when we needed extra chili oil or getting some to-go boxes they made sure we got those instantly! I do recommend going there not during rush as the restaurant is more intimate. Might have some wait time during a busy weekend in this plaza.

That being said, the restaurant had all the decor to transport you into Hong Kong. I love the old-school aesthetic paired with a modern finish. I think this definitely adds more flavor to the whole environment.

We came here tonight to celebrate a graduation. The place was able to accommodate our group and still comfortably had room for other diners. The food was delicious with good sized portions and reasonably priced. There are two different menus, a Chinese and Western menu along with a small menu for dim sum and Chef specials.

Delicious Food Corner in Rowland is definitely a hidden gem. The Hong Kong cafe taste here is as authentic as it gets. Their menu have an impressive amount of dishes that cater to every taste, from their crispy egg tarts to the curry beef brisket. It’s a delightful journey through Hong Kong’s flavors. This place deserves every one of its 5 stars, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Decided to try this new location after work with my coworkers and I must admit, I was very happy with the food and service. Out of all the DFC locations I’ve been to, I can honestly say, this was my favorite location.

The staff is very attentive and the food seemed a lot more flavorful and cooked a lot more carefully here. Even the ambiance seemed brighter and more modern than most Hongkong style cafes.

Everytime I come I always get the pineapple buns! These ones were absolutely delicious! They were warm and freshly made and were a great way to start off our meal

The House green beans were really good as well. Would definitely recommend getting these if you want to add some greens to your meal.

I would also recommend getting the fillet minion cubes and their house fried vermicelli as they made great additions to our feast!

We got the Wonton Noodle Soup, Pork Chop and Chicken Steak Baked Spaghetti, Sweet and Sour Spareribs, and Curry Beef. Food was overall okay, not the best. The Wontons were a standout, thin silky wrapper skins and juicy meat filling. The spaghetti did not have a good tomato sauce and cheese balance. Too much cheese. The sweet and sour Spareribs were fine. The curry was watery and tasted weak. The Diamond Bar location’s food tastes better. The service is polite and efficient.

One of the best spot I’ve tried in Rowland Heights that specializes in Hong Kong Cuisine. I love the casual ambiance here, and the variety of the dishes that they serve. I had a hard time deciding what to get because they were so many amazing options.
My faves were there House Special Filet Mignon and Salt and Pepper Spareribs, it was cooked perfectly and goes so well with the fried rice. The Filet Mignon was so tender. Overall all the dishes were really flavorful. Everything was comforting and really delicious. Already planning to come back to try more of their dishes!

I’m so excited to have a new DFC location so close to work! This place boosts that it brings the authentic taste of Hong Kong to Rowland, and I can confirm, they’re not wrong!

Even the bold red lights and accent walks create the vibes of the bustling streets of Hong Kong.

Speaking of food, everything I tried was deliciously consistent across the chain. I got my usual favorite refreshing red bean slushie. The beef chow fun was packed with flavor and noodles were perfect. The salt and pepper wings is easily the top 2 best around this area. The filet mignon cubes were tender and juicy and I like their house sauce version as well. The mapo tofu had just the right amount of .

The staff was quick and accommodating, pretty good for a Hong Kong cafe, iykyk about Chinese restaurant service expectations!

I can’t wait to return and have more group lunches so I can try more dishes from their extensive menu.

Very disappointed in the food. Nothing was hot. I ordered the rib eye steak medium but came extra well done and only 1/4 inch think. OK maybe 3/8 inch. Still everything else was also very disappointing. All four of us agreed.

Ssoooo delicious, love the peking duck here. That’s pretty much the only reason why I come here. The parking is horrible, always has been but that’s in the entire area but just this shopping center. As far as service well it’s a little show, take forever to get somebody over to your table. Not too bad tho. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant.
