Now let’s get on to the food!!
HK Style Bun – this bun is just mad amazing, When the bun is hot and toasty paired with the cold butter just the best combo you can imagine. It definitely helps open up the stomach for more food
Beef Chow Fun – I am just a sicker for Chow Fun something about the flat noodles based in soy sauce just gets me all the time. I had the egg scrambled on top but doesn’t give the same type of texture as the regular. I recommend getting this and using their homemade spicy sauce which makes this even tastier!
I also ordered the chicken/pork steak (grilled mixed steak) as this is one of the stables I get at most Cantonese restaurants. Their black pepper sauce is really peppery and sweet in every bite. my recommendation is to get it on the side so you can dip as much as you like.
Service:
We had a pretty large group and we expected to have some delays in food as we can imagine how many things we ordered. But the staff was just amazing, they got our orders right away and when we needed our time they didn’t rush us. on top of that when we needed extra chili oil or getting some to-go boxes they made sure we got those instantly! I do recommend going there not during rush as the restaurant is more intimate. Might have some wait time during a busy weekend in this plaza.
That being said, the restaurant had all the decor to transport you into Hong Kong. I love the old-school aesthetic paired with a modern finish. I think this definitely adds more flavor to the whole environment.
The staff is very attentive and the food seemed a lot more flavorful and cooked a lot more carefully here. Even the ambiance seemed brighter and more modern than most Hongkong style cafes.
Everytime I come I always get the pineapple buns! These ones were absolutely delicious! They were warm and freshly made and were a great way to start off our meal
The House green beans were really good as well. Would definitely recommend getting these if you want to add some greens to your meal.
I would also recommend getting the fillet minion cubes and their house fried vermicelli as they made great additions to our feast!
My faves were there House Special Filet Mignon and Salt and Pepper Spareribs, it was cooked perfectly and goes so well with the fried rice. The Filet Mignon was so tender. Overall all the dishes were really flavorful. Everything was comforting and really delicious. Already planning to come back to try more of their dishes!
Even the bold red lights and accent walks create the vibes of the bustling streets of Hong Kong.
Speaking of food, everything I tried was deliciously consistent across the chain. I got my usual favorite refreshing red bean slushie. The beef chow fun was packed with flavor and noodles were perfect. The salt and pepper wings is easily the top 2 best around this area. The filet mignon cubes were tender and juicy and I like their house sauce version as well. The mapo tofu had just the right amount of .
The staff was quick and accommodating, pretty good for a Hong Kong cafe, iykyk about Chinese restaurant service expectations!
I can’t wait to return and have more group lunches so I can try more dishes from their extensive menu.
