I’ve been eyeballing this truck since it 1st showed up a month ago, just never checked it out before today.. that was my mistake. I visited today around 7pm, an hour before they close, and I am very impressed. I decided to start with a basic chicken and rice, just to test the food as I’m new to middle eastern cuisine. I will say, I am impressed. The gentleman taking the orders was so very polite and was very engaging in small talk, as lucky for me they weren’t busy at the time. They will not take money until food is ready, which I found refreshing. As a 1st time customer, I was rewarded with a drink on the house and a discount, of which I am grateful! Now on to the food, it was extremely flavorful and in going with other people’s reviews, plenty of food for the money! As a matter of fact, I was only able to eat half and am saving the other half for lunch tomorrow. I’m not a little guy, and I was full after half a plate for less then 12 bucks. Now, the food i ordered is a Lil spicy, as I believe it is supposed to be, as I’m a 1st time eater of the type of cuisine, but it’s not hurt you spicy, just enough to heat ya up, but not hide any flavor of the wonderful food. I will be going back and trying another option offered to expand my taste of this wonderful cuisine! Thank you and I hope for success of this business. Bang for your buck is hard to find in Winston-Salem, I believe this food truck offers it in spades!

A Google search for halal food yielded this truck. Glad I took the chance as I am beyond pleased. The guy at the counter was humble as heck. Asked for lamb and chicken combo over rice. An actual salad as opposed to just lettuce. White, bbq and hot sauce and a side of a minty yogurt sauce with cilantro. I asked for a few fries on top and was given that free of charge. Also asked for extra chicken, I asked how much more for that and he took it as an insult. Told me he’s been there for only 2 months and they were “struggling.” Asked for the total and then for a soda and he hands it over saying “accept my humble gift.” I was wowed with the food but most of all by this guys humbleness and customer service. Pay these guys a visit, your taste buds will thank you! Hang in there, you guys have a good recipe and I wish you all the success in the world

The food tastes really good, and the quality and freshness are impressive overall. The highlight for me was the excellent customer service provided by Mr. Fahad — very attentive and professional. One small area for improvement is the freshness of the rice, which could be better. Otherwise, a great experience!

I saw this truck a couple of weeks ago and knew I wanted to try it out. I got the Chana over rice and, oh man, it’s delicious. I could eat the rice by its self it is so flavorful. The chickpeas are nice and spicy and I made everyone at work try a bite because we are all foodies! Service was quick and pleasant, and the price point was very reasonable! Great stuff you guys have going on over there! I’ll be back!
