I was in the area and was scrolling for good black owned food joints and this place popped up. I decided to give them a try because the reviews look promising. The menu is nice with lots of different options . The restaurant is also nice for pictures . I decided to a grab and go. I ordered the tasty breakfast sandwich , I also ordered a salmon filet and told them to slap it on my sandwich . I must say EVERYTHING was delicious and flavorful . My lord , croissant was soft , bacon was crispy , potatoes were well seasoned and the biscuit was fluffy and warm . No questions asked , I will be back .

Friday, December 26, 2025: The moment I walked in, I was greeted right away — and Iesha truly felt like the headliner.
Iesha guided me through the drinks with the ease of a seasoned chef, explaining my meal, the possible upgrades, and the timing like we were designing a plate together. The room feels open, intentional, and layered, with smooth R&B humming in the background.
On her recommendation, I started with the Paradise Punch — think tropical layers with citrus on the front, a soft sweetness in the middle, and a sunny finish.
I also ordered the Creole omelet, it had a bit more egg than I usually prefer, but the squeeze of lemon added a bright, zesty lift, and when Iesha suggested a touch of Cajun sauce, it really perked things up. Visually, there seemed to be more shredded lobster meat than whole shrimp pieces. I would NOT ordered it again. The potatoes fell flat. I thought they would come with sautéed onions, well seasoned.
Saturday, December 27, 2025: I actually returned the very next day to explore more of the menu and tried the French toast and chicken. Once the syrup was warmed, the flavor opened up beautifully — cozy, inviting, and just indulgent enough. The toast itself was on the thicker side than I personally prefer, but it still carried the sweetness well.
As for the chicken, the flats were absolutely devour-worthy — crispy, seasoned, and gone in minutes. The drummettes, however, didn’t quite compete, so they stayed on the plate.
Overall, it was a thoughtful, comfort-forward plate with moments of real delight.
Quick note: there’s a small service fee and a built-in 15% gratuity included.

This was my first time visiting, and the food was immaculate! I was honestly a bit overwhelmed at first because there were so many great options to choose from. Thankfully, Destiny took great care of me — her customer service was excellent. She was patient, very accommodating, and made sure I had everything I needed. Between the good food and the smooth slow-jam music, the whole vibe was on point. I’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I had the pleasure of trying out this restaurant on Sunday! From the moment we walked it, we were greeted by the lovely hostesses. We told them our reservation time and we were then taken to our seats. What hour plus wait time?! Didn’t happen for us! We were then greeted by our server Sharonda (sp.) with a beautiful smile and with so much charisma! She was really nice, engaged and attentive to the needs of the customers. Honestly speaking, everyone seemed to be. I pay close attention and have been eating out and observing for years. The entire staff- amazing!!! The drinks came out after we ordered them and from the looks of it…. Everyone else’s drinks too. What 45min wait?! Our food came out shortly afterwards, while we were still sipping on our drinks! Food was piping hot and delicious! Looking for real catfish… tasty and NOT swai… go here! I know catfish from a mile away… The food was good. The presentation! I asked that my husbands catfish be separate from the grits (he got catfish and grits because I wanted the grits but he doesn’t eat them)…. No problem! They did that! Food was cooked to perfection!! Food was reasonably priced! Because of the service of Sharonda, the atmosphere and the delicious food- we will return! Great job representing the community! I believe in supporting especially when the work and effort is being put in! Great job to the staff and owners! ☺️

I visited Tasty G Spot from recommendations I saw in Instagram for brunch.
Vibe: my initial arrival to the plaza, I was confused where the place located. The exterior didn’t have a huge sign with the name of the restaurant, but a small sign on the door with the name. On the inside, they have decorated the different rooms to create a lush, plant atmosphere. The music was extremely loud with a lot of explicit cursing – not ideal for families.
Food: our table got the honey butter biscuit as and appetizer. It looked very fluffy, not overly sweet with honey. For the entree, I had the fried chicken and red velvet waffle – it tasted very good, especially the seasoning on the chicken. To drink, I initially ordered a lemonade that I had to return – it tasted like sugar water with a splash of lemon. I ordered a Pepsi which was very flat. Note: there are no free refills on drinks
Service: I was greeted but the group of hostess by the entrance. There seems to be a large number of young people working at the restaurant. My waitress was initially attentive, but we had to track her down for the end of service.
I would not revisit, probably not. But if you like a hype, trap-like music bunch, this would be your place.

My family of 6 dined on a Sunday afternoon. We had reservations and there was no wait. We were greeted with warm hospitality the moment we walked in. Our waitress CHRIS was AMAZING. She was cheerful, helpful and a absolute delight! Her top tier service alone guarantees that we will be back. We were disappointed that several items on the menu that we wanted were unavailable- pork chops, short ribs, oxtail and bananas for the banana foster French toast. The manager,(didn’t get his name) was kind and apologetic and tried to remedy the problems. However, THE FOOD WE DID HAVE WAS DELICIOUS- SOLID 10’S ACROSS THE BOARD. Whoever is cooking in that kitchen has the blessings of the ancestors in his/ her corner. I mean everything was delicious. The drinks were on point thanks to QUEEN who made the perfect cocktails. We had a great experience overall and look forward to coming back. My only recommendation for room for improvement would be to offer coffee, tea and a wings & banana fosters entree like the stuffed strawberries French toast option.
