It started with a passion for the warm hospitality and the love for seafood fest, Tasty Crabs is a locally family-owned seafood restaurant. Our purpose is to bring the delicious taste of the backyard seafood fest to the Woodbridge area. We believe tasty seafood alone won’t provide the best experience but combined with great customer service will yield the ultimate experience. Every Friday and Saturday the store will close at 12am Midnight from 10th of May 2024 and provide Live or Karaoke music till close.

I ordered the lobster special online for 50 some dollars for pick up. You can’t pay online you have to pay in store. When I got to the store they didn’t have the order and “surprise “ the price is 20 dollars more. I’m tired ,I worked a long day, so I just want to order and go home. Now I also left a tip. The lady gave me my meal and I went home. When I got home I noticed that the snow crab was missing. I called them and they were like – we can just give you the snow crabs when you come next time. No! I ordered today so I want it today. I asked for a discount for my inconvenience. They hung up on me. I called back – lady said yes maam I talked to the manger and we will give you a discount. I get there four people look at the bag and I get the snow crabs- nothing extra. The also refused to give me the discount because I already received a military discount. I had to leave I was so angry. To make it worse the seafood was rubbery and bland. They must boil everything in water and then toss it in the bag with the sauce before giving it to you. It use to be better. I should have known better when no one was in the store on a Friday night. Don’t waste your time or money. Overpriced untasty crab.

Did a pick up order. When I got home they didn’t put in my extra eggs I paid for, the potatoes were under cooked and super crunchy. The crawfish were tangy and there was no seasoning. I had muscles and majority of my shells were empty and the meat was not in my bag. So disappointed in the lack of seasoning and the old/stale seafood.

Tasty Crab never fails to deliver. Can’t get enough of their Fries and Mac & Cheese. Their signature crab meat always hits a sweet spot: crispy but not dried up and full of flavour. They have a fine balance between sauce, cheese and seasoning. You’d wanna come back a second time at the very least!

I work with one of the Marriott Hotels and today was my day off and I just wanted to relax and order some seafood. So decided to DoorDash some food from here. I really wanted some garlic butter on the side but they didn’t have any options on the website so I called and a nice guy had amazing customer service, super polite. Forgot his name but it started with a D. He helped me out and arranged it to be added to my order for free. The food got here, ugh amazing. Ordered some for me and my bf and we finished it instantly. Nothing like a good seafood boil to enjoy on a relaxing day. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Definitely would recommend!!!

The food from here was really good. My first time trying it from here. The catfish was excellent, and the shrimp were good. The fries were decent. One thing I found really odd though was that the shrimp weren’t all the same — 2 still had tails on, and 2 had tails off. When I took the tails off the two that still had them on, the shrimp weren’t de-veined, and full of waste matter. Gross! At $1.25 each, you would come to expect them to be. I don’t usually do sauces at places, but since it was my first time trying this place I tried the white sauce that came with the meal – it had almost no flavor to it; completely bland. The other sauce (red) was your standard cocktail sauce they always give with shrimp. The fish was really delicious. The fish was breaded well, seasoned well, and really flaky. I loved it.

Family came here in a Friday night, and the only employee we saw was the hostess, who was STONED as can be. She was doing everything in the front while the guy from another table told us that they had horrible service and he just saw 5 guys in the back just hanging out. The hostess delivered two separate sodas that had run out of syrup, and was super confused when we asked for a different flavor. After the HOSTESS getting our drinks, getting another table’s drinks, running food to a 4th (and last group of people there because it was dead) table, it hit 20 minutes without a food order.
My wife was disappointed because the last time she came here, it was popular and good. Maybe they had a salmonella outbreak or something.

I love seafood but this restaurant is a huge no. I ordered their “must try” crab dip- and it’s a definite skip. Half the crab dip was a “melted cheese” topping. Once you dig through the cold cheese the dip itself is flavorless and the chips have a weird texture. I also ordered a corn bread that was both dry and soggy at the same time. The top layer was dry enough (even after spreading the melted butter) to leave me thirsty and the bottom layer was what tasted like old corn kernels. They were so soggy it made the bottom of the cornbread wet. Not moist- wet. Finally I ordered their regular $40 crab boil bag with their house crab sauce and it was just gross. The shrimp were over cooked little stones that has a super fishy taste, the corn on the cob was absolutely rotten even though im sure it was a frozen corn on the cob that was also overcooked and mushy. The bag claimed to come with 1 sausage but they only give you a piece of sausage which is the equivalent of 1 bite. The crab itself didn’t taste fishy but it definitely wasn’t the best I’ve ever had and finally the sauce lacked flavor and spice even though I ordered their house mix with a medium spice level. Oh and to top it off their speciality lemonade was flat and they had no lemons prepared – at a seafood restaurant. Overall just a no, will not be returning and do not suggest anyone else waste their $ here.
