Tasty Burger – Monday Lunch To-Go Experience
I stopped by Tasty Burger on Monday to pick up lunch to take home so my wife, kiddo, and I could eat together. I had heard good things and was looking forward to it, but unfortunately the experience didn’t go as expected.
After placing my to-go order, I waited over 30 minutes. During that time, 5+ people who came in after me ordered, received their food, and left before my order was ready. My order was simple three burgers and three orders of fries so the delay was surprising. It honestly felt like orders may have been coming out of the kitchen out of sequence.
After about 20 minutes, I mentioned the wait to the person who checked me out. They were very apologetic, which I appreciated, but the order still took quite a while after that.
Because of the 30+ minute wait, I didn’t get the chance to actually sit down and enjoy lunch with my wife and kiddo like I had planned. Instead, I had to scarf my food down quickly so I could get back to work.
When the food finally came out, I asked if I could speak with a manager just to understand what may have happened, but I was told the manager was too busy at the time.
I understand restaurants can get busy and things happen, but communication and keeping orders moving in the right sequence makes a big difference, especially for customers picking up food to go. If you’re planning to visit Tasty Burger, you may want to allow extra time or consider going somewhere else.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and I really like this place! I came by and noticed they are under new ownership but the food is still great! My favorite thing to get here is a grilled chicken sandwich and tater tots. It’s pretty on the blank inside other than the TVs, but I’m sure it just takes time to fully re-decorate! They were playing something a little odd on the tv tbh, but I mean the food was still good lol

We go here frequently. Sometimes you wait a long time, but it depends on day, time, and if anything is happening nearby, like sports or something in Choctaw. But everything is homemade and it is not fast food, but worth it!

Great experience here! I forgot the young lady who took my order, but her and the Manager Simon made sure you had a good double cheeseburger, fries and soft drink in a very reasonable time and it was served as expected as very hot and delicious. If you haven’t been here you should consider it your loss!

I have bragged up Tasty Burger to a lot of people. Burgers and fries were always hot and patties juicy. I hadn’t been in in several months so
some coworkers and I stopped by for lunch. It took 40 minutes to get our meals. The wait is acceptable for great food. The food we received was anything but great. Horrible burgers… all three were cold, cheese wasn’t melted, and buns were hard. French fries were also cold. I cannot recommend Tasty Burger ever again.

Tasty Burger is fantastic! The cheeseburgers are amazing and the onion rings are crispy and so delicious. The manager, Simon, and the entire crew were very friendly and efficient. You really should check this place out. You will not regret it.

They food has gone down hill after new ownership. The service is never consistent. And the atmosphere is so loud and busy, not with people but the giant and loud tv, you’re unable to have conversations. Used to be a great local hole in the wall.

Disappointed the new owners are not maintaining the quality of the original owners. The burgers nothing like they were before. Burgers are now a thin dry patty on a large bun. They do not have fresh cut fries anymore although the woman counter claimed they did. They have frozen with skin on fries. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to eat there. Any fast food Resturant would be better. Maybe other menu item are better but I probably won’t go back to try any of it.

I took my boys to tasty burger today for Lunch. It was are first time going there and the food was great. We will go back. The place was really clean and the works was great. I wanna said thank you for really great lunch. We will see you all soon.
