We love this café in the neighborhood! The owner is so nice and friendly! All the drinks and pastries are tasty and fresh. I wish the pictures that we took did it justice but we finished it all too quickly. She even gave us a complimentary drink when she found out it was one of our staff’s birthday! We will be coming back again and again. Highly recommend and definitely a must try!! ❤️❤️❤️

I was confused at first because the sign says both coffee and chicken, but now I understand why.

I’m very picky about lattes, and this one was incredibly rich and delicious. I heard the barista won an award, and it really shows in the quality of the coffee.

The chicken was also excellent — it truly tasted like authentic Korean fried chicken made by someone very experienced in the KOREAN CHICKEN kitchen.

This place has great coffee and great chicken. We ordered the vanilla latte (with some nice latte art), hot chicken (white meat) and waffles + boneless chicken (dark meat) with soy garlic sauce and Korean chile (spicy!). Parking right out front but not too many spots. Service is fast – order at the counter – coffee pickup at the counter – food is brought to your table.

Note: everything is dark meat except the chicken and waffles

I’ve only had hot and cold drinks and bingsu but look forward to trying the food as well. This is my favorite coffee shop in the whole area, which is saying a lot because there are several good ones. I’ve had the ginger mat chai latte, amazing, and the chai latte, also amazing. My family members love the cappuccino and the iced strawberry matcha. The bingsu was the best I’ve had! Great barista and ambiance here.

Came here for the coffee and ended up staying for the amazing food. I had the chicken and waffles, with additional sunny side up egg and a side of fries. My gf got the soy garlic chicken, which was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, not soggy like in some other places. Even the fries were nice and crunchy. For drinks, my gf had a mocha latte, and I got the coffee einspänner which was perfect because it was both creamy and sweet, and exactly how I like my coffee. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

This is one of my absolute favorite cafes!

They have a wide arrange of food and drink options that are all equally tasty. I highly recommend the Katsu as it is very flavorful and reminds me of some of the Katsu I’ve had in Japan.

The only downside is the lack of Wi-Fi, so make sure you can use a hotspot if you plan to get some work done.

I will start with the atmosphere first since that is what you get when you first come in:

Perfectly decorated, you can tell that the owners take great pride in their cafe/restaurant. Clean, low music so you can study and talk (which is a burden for so many other cafes who have loud music). My husband and I were greeted immediately when we walked in. Warm, comfortable temperature on a cold, foggy December day. Bathroom is clean and smells great.

The food:

The food is amazing. The best coffee/tea I’ve had in this area. I got the matcha einspanner, the cream is perfect and complements the matcha wonderfully. The matcha is not bitter and there are no clumps at the bottom of the cup, showing it was mixed well. My husband and I got the fried chicken sandwiches with fries. He got waffle fries and I got regular fries, SO CRISPY! Dip them in the tteokbokki sauce if you get it, we did and were not disappointed. The tteok is chewy but not mush and not hard, showing it was cooked with care per batch and not cooked in bulk and left to sit. Fish cake was perfect and sauce is the perfect blend between sweet and spicy. I enjoyed the added onion and green onion for added sweetness and flavor. The fried chicken was out of this world crispy. I got the spicy soy garlic and my husband got the Korean chili — blew my mind with the flavor. The chicken is pounded thin so if you’re a chicken weirdo like me who likes crispy chicken, this is the perfect sandwich to fit that craving.

All in all, 10/10. Wish I lived closer because I don’t think I would leave this place… definitely worth the trip from Hackensack/Fort Lee area.

One of my favorite Korean fried chicken places in the neighborhood. Seasoned super well and so crispy. It can get pretty busy; expect to wait 30-45 mins for the chicken. Highly recommend their other menu items too. Drinks are refreshing. The seasonal taco was absolutely delicious and a good portion size. Overall quality is great. Lovely cafe.
