The food here is so good. I enjoyed this place so much I went here 2 nights in a row. The first night I got the fish platter with yams & Mac. The 2nd night I got the wings with greens & rice & gravy. The girl at the counter was very inviting also. The only bad part about this place is it isn’t anywhere to park. Other than that this place is the go to for some good soul food & I will definitely be back.

Food was great. I don’t cook with salt but the greens had a little too much salt. The lemon pepper wings were the best I have had. Mac and cheese was very good. I will return. Atmosphere was a carryout place but you can sit to eat.

The food was pretty good. The service was a little short. If you’re eating in, I recommend a sandwich instead of a platter because they only have those flimsy plastic forks and no knives at all. Also, don’t go on a hot day because there’s no air conditioning.

I got the chicken breast, Mac-n-cheese, collar greens and shrimp fried rice. The food was not good. The greens was very salty, the Mac n cheese taste like nothing. The shrimp fried rice taste old and gummy. I am from Alabama and i thought this was going to be some good food but i was wrong. It was a waste of my money!!

My experience was horrible! I made an order at 3:17pm and the cashier stated that it would be 10-15 minutes. However, we received our food almost an hour later. Prior, the cashier finally tells us that there are no more turkey wings and just before the owner was there. WHY WOULD YOU WAIT ALL THAT TIME TO SAY THERE WAS NO MORE???? ALSO, the cashier was chopping it up and flirting with someone sleeping in the restaurant.

The last time I ate from here was in 2020, the food was very disappointing and I never ate from here again after that experience. But recently my friend came to visit from Philly and she brought a Whiting platter and baby everything tasted delicious! I was in shock! Tasties in west Philly was alway A1 and I was super shocked it wasn’t in Wilmington. I went to order my own platter and I got the lemon pepper wings, Mac and greens. Again I was shocked because this food was so good it tasted like I was a different restaurant! It’s very evident that the owner listened to the customer feed back and that’s so important!! I recently tried the salmon and it was dry but I’ll let them know next time not to broil for too long. Service is great as well! I will definitely be ordering again!

I ordered 6 Thai Wings, macaroni and cheese, and cabbage. It also came with a roll. It was listed as $16.50 i paid $18 something. Staff reported a price change but the menu was not updated. The cabbage lacked flavor but the wings were good and the macaroni and cheese ok. The bread… was very buttery.

Great spot! NO PORK! I got the turkey wing plate with greens and Mac and cheese. They didn’t skimp on the portions! The turkey wings were perfectly seasoned. Very tender! The greens were some of the best I’ve had. Most soul food restaurants use pork. This place uses turkey butts. The mac and cheese was good too. The price was a bit high, but the quality made it well worth it. I’d definitely recommend this place!

I been going here since they opened. A few times I said that I wasn’t go back, food wasn’t TASTIE. The last 3 weekends I have purchased a few platters and I can say that the Service from the young Brother taking orders and the lady cooking is on point. Please keep that team together. They are doing a great Job.
