Glad I found this off the beaten path spot. I had the Chicken Sandwich which uses the same batter as the Fish & Chips and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely have to try the Fish & Chips on my next visit!

This was worth the travel to pick up Fish~N~Chips! They are conveniently located on Union Ave in Bloomingdale, NJ. Loved the bean bag toss and outdoor seating arrangement for eating. Don’t forget to take a photo in the phone booth. Definitely going back here!!!

Fantastic! Worth the 20 minute drive to check this spot out. Having lived in the UK years ago, I’ve missed a good Fish & Chips spot…this place DID NOT disappoint. We loved everything we ordered. The fish, shrimp, and chicken and chips were all so good. I’m fine with the chips not being salted because I can add salt myself, if I choose to do so. Without a doubt, we will be back! ❤️

Was looking for a good fish and chips spot. Wasn’t aware it’s an outside eating only stand up restaurant. Nice for a warmer day. Fish was a bit greasy and overcooked. Nice crisp on the fish but should’ve been pulled out a minute before. Fries were definitely overcooked. Definitely should add a little salt when fries are pulled out of the grease. Just crispy and tasteless. Someone in our group had the chicken and chips. Chicken apparently was fried in same grease as fish and tasted a bit fishy.

My family and I have been a huge fan of Tastefully British since the day they opened. We usually order from there at least once a month, but since the original people who used to serve are no longer there the food has been very disappointing! We ordered yesterday and the French fries were dark brown and inedible, and the Cole slaw is beyond disgusting as it literally tasted like fish.. The chicken was soggy with a lot of grizzle. I’m not sure we’ll ever order from Tastefully British again! I would very much like my $78.00 back, but I highly doubt I will see that!! I’ve attached a photo of the disgusting French fries.

It’s the actual ones that and we’ve been getting fish and chips from Saint Stephen’s Church in Kearney, New Jersey forever NEVER AGAIN. I am so embarrassed for you. It is not even funny. I have never in my life seen french fries that were basically you could count them out what was underneath the fish . The fish was smaller than it was last year. It cost more money. I can’t get over the french fry part that you would actually dump outrageously overcooked chips into four different dinners you should be a shape of yourself OK all these years are going in there and somebody said you did this last year last year was literally a 180° turn from the crap that you put out today drowning it in my own vinegar still did nothing. French fries were still hard as a ROCK ice cold and I picked my food up exactly when I was supposed to. I am embarrassed and a gor $80 down the drain for that I’m might as well go on a rip off place in Lynhurst so that’s what I was gonna do if I was just gonna get a little fish and a couple french fries I would’ve gone to the place on Valley Brook Avenue got ripped off but instead we donate and we get ripped off, but I guess you really can’t say much about it because it’s a donation in a way but after all these years, this was the worst I’ve ever had. Thanks…. and just for the record, it’s not a donation you’re paying premium prices for that. I don’t care if you respond you most likely won’t. It’s not gonna matter to me. I don’t care nothing you can say you’re gonna change what happened today to my entire family my mother is so big in that church too. st.Stevens This was so embarrassing for her. Oh man, happy Easter.

We really enjoyed eating dinner here tonight. I am normally not a fish person but, the fish sandwich was amazing! Best fish sandwich I ever had. Love the whole vibe of the place. They have a nice outdoor sitting area with corn hole.

The food here is amazing. The fish tastes fresh and the batter is nice and crispy. The portions are also pretty large. I will agree with another reviewer , I wish they had a side salad option or something as fries are not always the ideal pairing for different diets

Went for chicken and chips for the first time today. It was great! Too hot to eat outside today so I took it home. The chicken was fresh and fried up perfectly! Met the owner Scott today was really nice. Also picked up some Scottish meat pies for my freezer. Will be going back!
