Atmosphere, location, food, service and attention to detail are all top notch. The crown roll and honey butter is an absolute game changer in terms of bread service. I love that the chef rotates his menu based on creativity and it lead to two incredible dishes for us. The balance of flavor on our dishes was remarkably good. The chef also made sure to come out and interact with the patrons and made sure that everyone was happy and satisfied with their meal. Wonderful restaurant, beautiful ambiance. If you have the pleasure to have Meghan as your server you will be as lucky as we were. She is so sweet, personable and really made the experience memorable.

The food here is absolutely delish!!! Arthur puts his heart and soul in to every creation he makes. Nicole our bartender did a fabulous job on drinks, the espresso brûlée was out of this world, every touch of detail is perfection. The over all atmosphere is amazing, they have a wheelchair accessible entrance, patio seating , they don’t have a kids menu but I’m sure they’ll be working on one eventually and they have customizable options to help with allergens. I had the best experience here and I recommend it to all who want to eat amazing food. Thanks to Arthur (head chef and owner) and Nicole (bartender/owner) for the most wonderful time, we will be back soon on our next journey to poultney. Tasteful station is where you should go!!

Poultney is really punching above its weight with this restaurant! We arrived around 7:30 on a Thursday night and got a table immediately. The “starters/tapas” dishes are generous. We ordered three tapas dishes for two people and we were stuffed by the end of the meal.
Our favorites were fried shrimp and calamari with basil lemon aioli (we had to ask for extra aioli because we loved it so much!) and peach burrata, which was a little sweet, so we saved it for last and considered it a rich and creamy dessert.
We will definitely be coming back!

Wasn’t expecting to dine in tonight, they couldn’t fit us in next door with a family of five. I typically wouldn’t bring my kids here but the staff at the station were so kind and accommodating. We also showed up close to closing time typically I would be more considerate, but they didn’t rush us at all, they did not seem bothered.
Food was excellent as always. My glass of wine was top notch. Bill was much less than we expected. I love it here. Plus it’s so cute inside. Thank you TS for a wonderful end to our busy Saturday ❄️

To be honest we got au poivere sauce steak with some potatoes and the sauce was good but the steak was medium done when we asked for rare.. and some of the potatoes were dark black and tasted charred.. I think the cook is new to this and definitely has potential so im curious to come again after a few years of experience. Overall has potential, and the waiters and local vibe was nice.

I want to say first that all of the food was delicious. The appetizers were outstanding – frito misto and the ahi tuna flatbread. Or drinks were good also. My husband and i both had the miso mushrooms entree – his was excellent, mine had too much oil. Also, we grow shiitake mushrooms ourselves and we never leave the stems on due to their extreme chewiness. But the seasonings and the crispy rice were very good in this dish – I’d love to give it 4.5 stars if i could. Our server was lovely and the food came in a timely manner without rushing us. It’s wonderful to see a restaurant with such a delicious, inventive menu in town.

We have had a few meals at Tasteful Station and have never been disappointed. Arthur is not only a wonderful chef, but also a personable host. After our meal, he visited our table to make sure we were happy with our choices.
Some of our favorites include the Bhakta & Burrata and the Tuna Tartar. And the Trainwreck is a really yummy cocktail!
