First time customer. Ordered at 12:40PM. Received my order by 1PM. I ordered the buffalo chicken/jerk chicken mix. Food was pipping hot, and extremely fresh. Egg roll was crispy, and was filled to the brim. I really enjoyed my egg roll, and will be back soon!

Take out restaurant. My overall rating is based off my overall experience. I’ve been here multiple times. This particular visit I had their jerk steak bowl. I ordered my meal over the phone and it was ready when I got there in about 10 minutes. Overall the bowl was a three out of five for me because it’s as if they poured the jerk sauce over the rice and steak prior to melting the cheese on top and it was too much. If they actually marinated the steak in the jerk seasoning or sauce that would’ve been fine for me. When you over saturate your food with sauce you can’t actually taste the food. I will go back. I will just trying a different bowl

Omg I was so excited to try these egg rolls after watching Instagram. I ordered the Obama and The jerk shrimp egg roll the jerk shrimp eggroll wasn’t bad. I rated a seven but the Obama that everybody was bragging about was horrible. It was so salty I mean extremely salty. I couldn’t even eat it at all and then the jerk dipping sauce is disgusting and salty as hell I am totally hurt… it don’t even look edible

Finally had a chance to try them and it was good just as I was hoping for. Got the jerk chicken egg roll and Philly cheese steak. Both were good. Now the jerk is spicy spicy however with the sweet sauce it knocked it down just a tab bit. Overall very good and would definitely recommend them. Customer service was friendly and the lady gave recommendations.

I usually don’t give reviews. My experience here was great! The customer service was excellent! I tried at least five different egg rolls and all of them tasted amazing! They even went the extra mile to make sure that my coworkers and I were pleased. I definitely will visit this business again. Thank y’all!!

I drove 40 minutes out of my way because y’all know TikTok hyped this spot up like it was heaven wrapped in egg roll paper. But let me tell you—this wasn’t heaven. This was hot Kool-Aid with lies on the side.
I went to the Tastee Rolls on 79th (NOT Bellwood, and clearly that makes a difference), and from jump, the vibe was off. The man at the counter had the personality of a DMV printer. No smile, no greeting, just straight to the “we out of that” energy.
I tried to order a Peach Cobbler Egg Roll—sold out. Cool. I then asked for a Peach Tastee Tea, and again—sold out. He said they only had Wildberry. The lady behind me even said, “Well damn, what DO y’all have?” At that point, we both should’ve turned around.
I went ahead and ordered the Jerk Shrimp Egg Roll and the Mango Habanero Chicken Egg Roll, and gave my cousin cash for the Wildberry Tastee Tea.
Let’s talk about this so-called “shrimp.”
I opened that egg roll and immediately knew—this was not shrimp. It looked like steak. Smelled like steak. And I don’t even eat steak. So how would I accidentally order something I don’t eat? I took it back in, showed my receipt, showed the egg roll, and told him this ain’t right. He looked me dead in my face and said, “That’s shrimp.”
Maybe on Mars.
Maybe in Narnia.
Maybe if you close your eyes and pray real hard.
But here on Earth? Baby, that was not shrimp.
And don’t get me started on the Tastee Tea. Thick. Warm. Syrupy. It tasted like hot Berry Kool-Aid straight off the stove. I paid $5 for what felt like a scoop of warm juice concentrate with fruit bits floating in it. Where was the ice? Where was the chill? Where was the “tastee” part?! Ain’t nobody asked for fruit soup in a cup.
Back to the food—The Mango Habanero Chicken egg roll? Meh. It was okay. But it wasn’t worth the gas, the attitude, or the straight-up gaslighting I received from that counter.
Final Total:
$10.99 for two egg rolls
$5 for the tea
$1.11 in tax
➡️ $18.10 of regret and disrespect.
Customer service: 1/10
Food accuracy: 0/10
Tastee Tea: Thick disappointment
Would I return: Not even if they paid me in peach cobbler.
Photos attached—my receipt, the mango chicken roll, and that mystery meat “shrimp.” Look for yourself.
Zero stars.

The Buffalo chicken and jerk chicken egg rolls are delicious, but the Philly steak and Italian beef needs more seasoning. The rice bowl was ok. The grease needs to be changed looking at the color of the eggs rolls and fries. I don’t know how often they change it, but that’s the first thing we’ve noticed. The fries looked old and dirty because of the grease.

The Jerk rolls are pretty good, I enjoyed it more with the sweet and sour sauce rather than the jerk sauce. The Jerk sauce made it too spicy, the sweet and sour sauce balanced out the heat. I was surprised I liked it more with the sweet and sour sauce! The buffalo chicken rolls was good too, but enjoyed the Jerk better! The price regular size rolls are 4.50, not bad in my opinion.

Just ordered my order at 3:10 pm. Didn’t receive my order until 3:50 pm. Mind you I only ordered 3 egg rolls and a beverage. They completed 13 orders before I asked ” excuse me, but where’s my order?” I guess the cooks and management where to busy entertaining in the kitchen, because one came out and invited a young lady into the back ( I guess to impress her). But who am I to judge. Anyway… I should have took the signs from the door. There was a customer complaining on the phone before I placed my order. Complaining that she did not receive 4 egg rolls that she ordered. You can tell that they rushed my order out, because when I went to eat it, they were either half full or the meat was dry. I end up throwing the meal away. And this will definitely be my final time patronizing this business. YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! ⛔️⛔️⛔️⚠️⚠️⚠️

Popped in and got 3 egg rolls…Philly cheese steak, jerk chicken, and jerk steak. No big difference in flavor like nothing really stands out. The jerk chicken and steak didn’t pack any flavor to me just heat from the jerk 7.5. The Philly cheese steak was decent…nothing reminds me of a Philly but I prefer this over the jerk 7.8. They also give you a couple of chinese sweet n sour packets as well but it doesn’t compliment none of the egg rolls to me. Overall spot is decent thou…may come back to see if was an off day.
