Order the salmon platter, came with two sides, so went with yams and mac & cheese. Trust me when I say, there was nothing left on that platter, when I finished eating. The salmon was moist and the seasoning (honey garlic glazed) was a pleasant surprise, mac & cheese was cheesy and delicious, yams were soft and not overly sweet, just right! Definitely worth a few more visit, to try other delights on the menu.

I usually always enjoy the food but it didn’t taste right today. Chicken was lacking flavor, same with the candy yams. Yams weren’t sweet, lacked cinnamon as you can see in the picture. Mac was extra runny today. I will definitely give this place another try. It’s just an off day.

Soul food. Yes! I had the catfish sandwich-perfectly spiced, breaded and super tender. But nothing on that piece of bread, no lettuce, no sauce. I would recommend a side of fries and possibly look into the platter. They have packaged tartar sauce you can get though. The churros are frozen and just heated up and dressed on site, so I didn’t try them. It is a type of fast food establishment.

I decided to try because I’ve delivered door dash orders and it smelled so good and I have heard great things. We came in and no one was upfront and we really weren’t in a rush but someone came out right away and was very kind and friendly and my husband and myself value that a lot being we both work/have worked good service. We ordered the soul roll and a Philly cheesesteak with onions and jalapeños and fries to share. I wish we had ordered 2 containers of fries because they were SO GOOD! The Philly cheesesteak was perfect amount of seasoning with spice from jalepeno not too over powering. The soul roll was a burrito size egg roll filled with collard greens, yams, Mac n cheese, and fried chicken….perfect size and balance of flavor. We will be back!
2 suggestions, once I realized they were natural cut fries I got my malt vinegar immediately and the soul roll was very good but I wanted thanksgiving vibes so I dipped it in chicken gravy and it definitely took it up a notch, I’d consider adding a gravy cup with the soul roll and keep some malt vinegar packets for fries 🙂

They ate and left no crumbs, so I did too! Two enormous and perfectly fried whiting filets, greens, and candy yams that were better than Thanksgiving. My less adventurous husband was happy with his chicken cheesesteak, too. Loved that they shared space and co-promoted with a local brewery. Win win!

I am so beyond please with every item. So much flavor! There isnt an item I wasnt happy with! This is exactly what I needed and wanted to satisfy my craving and tastes just how I would make it. Im so estatic to find a place like this to order from. Gained a life customer here. I only knew about this place by talking to one of the owners Travis, he very pleasant to interact with. And definitely didnt steer me wrong. I cant rave enough.

Let me tell you, this is a spot that’s worth finding and getting! The food is fresh and made with care, full of flavor and plenty of variety! I’ve had their wings, the hot honey bbq flavor is sooo good. They have specials too so pay attention, the one Sunday I got lucky and had the chance to try their ribs. This platter came with a potato salad, cornbread and some yummy beans. The meat was tender and rich!! Also a huge fan of their fried pickles. If you’ve been looking for a good soul spot, this is the one. I don’t have a picture, but their yams are delicious too! People are friendly and efficient with getting your order done.

Came in right as the lunch pop hit them-
Got the Lamb Cheese Steak and Curry Cheese Steak.
We finished both, then ordered two more curries to go. The lamb was also PERFECT- to be clear- I ate the whole thing and had a bite of my husband’s, then ordered one of those for me and my coworker for later.
Yeah. It was like that. I am telling everyone I know to come here.
The roads in gave me anxiety, but the atmosphere once you get it in chill and connected to an awesome brewery.
The portions are great, the food is even better.
