Absolutely beautiful spot for lunch or a family picnic dinner after a day in the park.
The team was courteous and did a delightful job helping me choose. I loved the refreshing mango pineapple smoothie while they worked on my delicious burger with fresh, crispy toppings.

We loved the fruit smoothies! I had the Banana Breeze and my husband had the Piña Fresa—both were delicious. The service was amazing, and the place has such a vibrant, welcoming energy. We’ll definitely be back to try the Santa Fe and the cheeseburger wrap!

I stopped by Tastebuds On Walnut a couple of days ago & I was happy I did!
Lori, the owner & her son Danye, were both awesome! Danye made me the Pina Freso smoothie, which is made with real fruit, pineapple & strawberries, a little brown sugar & oat milk, delicious!
I also had a chaffel BLT feom the keto, low carb menu, which is a cheddar waffle which they make there, with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and turkey bacon with mayo, so good!!!
It was a perfect summer day at Walnut Hill Park, 77, blue sky, low humidity, & a little breeze, perfect day to sit at one of their umbrella tables and take in nature! ☀️
Why eat fast food when you can have their tasty, real food, fast for the same price?!
Park right in front or pull up to the road barrier.
Will definitely be going back for some of the good stuff !

Come on now people if you don’t dance when the food is good don’t go there… this place was the Bomb, took my wife for a quick bite to eat and let me tell you the chaffle was sooo good I had the burger and she had the BLT please come support this business you won’t be disappointed and after you can even take a relaxing walk around walnut park with the kids

I was early for an appointment in the area so searched for ‘iced coffee near me’. What a pleasant surprise! I thought they may have been closed, but the ordering window was on the opposite side of the small building. Service was excellent! There was smooth jazz playing and I was offered a seat while I waited for my coffee that was brought to me when ready. I believe it may have been a hot brewed coffee and the ice melted little quicker than I’d like. But it was still a very tasty iced coffee. I was almost late for my appointment because I was enjoying the calming vibes of the music and quiet park! Definitely returning when I’m back in the area and trying a smoothie.

Brooklyn with our dog when the atmosphere in the car changed. The tone in my GFs voice changed, my dog began to bark, and I wanted to cry because nothing I said was ok enough. We found “Tastebuds” through a Google search and found ourselves greeted by a friendly, family run business, in a beautiful park where we could stretch our legs and even play some wiggle ball while we waited for our food (which came out quickly).
To sum it up: Tastebuds at walnut hill park may have just saved our relationship. Cause we were HANGRY!!! 15/10. Must try!!!!

Avocado toast was delicious
Coffee was also so tasty and made with love.
Owner is super friendly and nice.
Prices are very good.
Also really cool to see the place finally used for something at the park and bring more life into the park.
Highly recommend, go check it out.

I happen to be driving through New Britain today and went to the lovely park in the center of town absolutely gorgeous as I was leaving. I saw this gazebo with activity inside it and out front. There was a porta potty in the road.. I hadn’t really looked at the menu and that’s the young lady if I could use it and she gave me the key and said it was very clean well anyhow, I came back to the window to give her the key and I saw the menu. It was on a menu board outside on the patio and it said smoothies and I had a banana strawberry smoothie and a chicken Caesar wrap which was absolutely delicious and I told them if I ever was coming back to New Britain, I would come here. The young lady and the gentleman were so kind and the food was delicious. I do a lot of traveling so I get to see a lot of food along the road and this was for a sandwich place five star and breakfast wraps guy sitting next to me at the picnic table on the lawn told me he had moved from out of town and Google breakfast wraps near me and taste buds popped up and for good reason, they are fine

My wife and I stopped by on a morning walk since she has gone a few times previous to mine. She always mentions how good their smoothies are and it was delicious! We both purchased the strawberry/banana smoothie and it hit the spot like never before. The lady that served us met us with a warm smile and a friendly personality! I’m a forever fan now and really look forward to stopping by again and trying a new thing on the menu. Thank you!!
