First time that I go in myself to get food. My ex used to get food from here all the time . ALWAYS DELICIOUS. & I’ve tried many places in Long Island. This one hands down the best. I went a little late last night . I think I was given an extra patty . Mesi! ❤️

Hands down one of the best Haitian food places in Long Island. Worth the wait and every penny. The patties are fresh and taste so good. The fried plantains are fried perfectly and the pork is seasoned and also fried to perfection. They’re on the pricier side but you definitely get what you pay for. It’s for sure recommended and will continue seeing me as a customer.

We had an hour and a half bus ride coming to this tiny restaurant all the way to Hempstead from Flushing. I have tried their food from a Haitian friend and I said I have to buy it myself to see the real restaurant. First is you have to call them ahead because it takes 30 minutes to 1 hour for them to prepare your food. Secondly, there are no chairs and tables inside the restaurant. Food wise, I will rate it with 5 stars. Goat and Turkey meat were so full of flavors, tender and comes with rice and beans, with spicy pickliz and savory gravy. It brings out a very tasty combination even the shallots brings another twist to the enjoyable food experience. It may be far, but I will definitely come back. I hope they will soon deliver in my area.

The BEST griot hands down. Perfect exterior crisp with tender interior. Given that it’s takeout only, I would recommend that you consume the griot immediately if not inside then in your car, on the bus or whatever but don’t wait to take it home!
I was making a request, but the person helping me seem to be annoyed or frustrated, but then I switched to my subpar French, and it changed the whole vibe as he could see I was really interested in trying the authentic products and learning a bit more about them in frenchlish. Though a few times she did speak English. He spoke quite well. I can empathize as anyone who learns more than one language can relate sometimes we’re better at understanding than speaking or vice versa.
I’m not sure about the other dishes as this was my first visit. There is also a homemade Haitian drink, which is quite rich and similar to Jamaican Irish sea moss but much smoother (less gooey)
I hope the business prosperous and opens up a location in the city

Man taking the order was ok greeting me as I walked in. Was informed order would take 20 mins which was not bad. The food was excellent. Seasoned and cooked well. Can’t wait to order again.

Got some patties and was very disappointed. It has no taste as it spears there was no hareng or codfish inside. Barely a spot – no taste at all. I think they forgot to add the filling maybe.

Food is good when you’re hungry , customer service sucks ESPECIALLY if you’re not Haitian.

Gave away my food because I “took too long to come”. Ordered 40 minutes prior to arriving. If you don’t order in advance, you wait 30 minutes to 1 hour for food, which is ok for me. But not when I drive from a far to pick up my food and arrive to no food. What’s the point of confirming an order. They could call, the person who ordered, if concerned. But I guess not. What good is good food with poor customer service. When the company forgets about the consumer.
