Stopped by this sandwich shop in Phinney Ridge after a trip to the zoo, and I’m so glad I did! The location is super convenient, and the sandwiches are seriously delicious-don’t skip adding a fried egg, trust me. Their banh mi’s are the bomb, and I’m a big fan of the fresh fruit smoothie drinks with aloe vera jelly (perfect combo!). Spring rolls were good too. The inside is cute and cozy, making it a great spot to hang out. I’ll definitely be back with friends whenever I’m in the neighborhood!

La Ca Lounge is a total treat for bubble tea lovers! We sipped on their Jasmine Milk Tea with Grass Jelly and the signature milk tea with grass jelly—both divine. Plus, the combo Vietnamese sandwich was a scrumptious bonus. Such a friendly spot with delicious treats. Can’t wait to swing by again!

The food was delicious but I got terrible food poisoning. I got it six days ago and I’m still recovering. It was terrible. An hour after eating here I started cramping, and by hour two I was SICK. Had to get two IV’s. Get on three different medications, one of them being an antibiotic to kill the bacteria in my gut. Now I have to get anti ulcer medication to help protect my stomach. It’s been a long week. I’m really devastated this happened.

I would never order food here again. We got the Tofu Bahn Mi, a street noodle and a chicken wrap. I’d say it was right there with standard middle school cafeteria food.
The chicken wrap was frozen chicken patties that had been quartered and an old cut salad mix with sweet and spicy ketchup.
The “street noodles” were a ramen kit with sweet and spicy ketchup on it.
The bahn mi was just tofu and old vegetables.
It was the blandest $26 I’ve ever spent. It’s unclear if there is a kitchen in the back or just a Subway style assembly board with a microwave.
The bubble tea is pretty average, it’s a fine place for that.

We were excited to try this place. They were very friendly. Sadly the food we tried was horrible. We ordered the pork banh mi, spam musubi, and the pork vermicelli. They used the same spam meat for all of it and the noodles were thin and overcooked. I didn’t finish it. The boba was average but definitely not as good as the other places close by such as DIY Tea lab.

Ordered the Thai Bubble Tea and Tofu Banh Mi. Both are delicious! Banh mi was served warm, bread crisp on outside, soft in the middle, fillings seasoned perfectly. Will try the chicken banh mi next time. Bubble Tea was served in a cup with a lid that I can reuse at home. My meal was satisfying and reasonably priced.

Great spot to grab small Vietnamese bites or drinks like boba tea. The staff was super friendly and you can also order on their kiosk. The drinks were a little too sweet for my liking even at less sweet. The lavender matcha had a good touch to it.
