I came here for Valentine’s Day dinner. I know this day is always slammed for restaurants, but service was actually pretty good! Our waitress did a good job. I got the calamari, crab cakes and the blueberry crisp. The calamari was good, and the crab cakes were fine (I’ve had better), the crisp was pretty bad. The crumble on it didn’t even taste like it was cooked, just tasted like raw oatmeal and brown sugar. My husband also didn’t like his raspberry cake. Maybe skip the desserts if you come here.

Based on the high ratings I was looking forward to dinner. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I”m not a chef but number one rule is presentation…..there was nothing special about presentation it looked like what you would serve at home. The deconstructed beef Wellington looked totally unappetizing taste was mediocre. Lobster carbonara was more like a soup and very salty. Husband got surf and turf steak was cold not warm it was cold and lobster over done . Rolls and butter were bland. Spicy margarita not spicy. Shrimp cocktail was highlight of dinner. Will not be returning.

We went here after getting a gift card for Christmas. We got calamari as a starter, cooked perfectly, tender with a lightly crispy crust. My entree was barramundi and shrimp while my husband got chicken cordon bleu, again cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were just right, enough to be satisfied without feeling too full or still hungry. Prices were appropriate given the quality of food and service.

We tried Taste & Sea for the first time and were really impressed. Everything from the food to the service was spot on.
We ordered the tuna poke, lobster carbonara, oysters, and calamari, and every dish was excellent. The tuna poke was fresh and flavorful, the oysters were delicious and fresh, and the calamari was light and crispy. The lobster carbonara was the standout for us.
Service was great throughout the meal, and the bartender was especially friendly and welcoming. They also have some really good happy hour specials, which makes it an even better spot to check out.
If you’re looking for a new local place to try, we’d definitely recommend Taste & Sea. We’ll be back!

Visited another new place on the weekend. Taste & Sea Seafood, Steaks, Libations. I had very high hopes since Google Maps reviews are at 4.9 (but I noticed just before we left for dinner that Yelp was at 4.0). Which rating do I agree with? The vibe was okay but I would say mostly reminding me of a seafood place at the shore (“a little too blue”). It also was a little cold throughout the restaurant (although we were told it was 70). Service was excellent (thanks Jayden!). I had the “okay” mushroom soup (slightly lumpy and too much cream; not as good Iron Hill’s Brewery which oddly is my favorite). My entree was Venison Diane with fingerling potatoes and a mustard/mushroom sauce. I liked this very much although ever so slightly under-seasoned but cooked to a perfect temperature. I finished with apple crisp. I told Evan and Ginny that my favorite apple crisp was what we were served in high school, so go figure! This was not that. Mostly oats as the “crisp” and seemed to be lacking the butter and brown sugar to bring the topping together. Evan said his scallops were perfectly cooked but the risotto was only lukewarm and had a really odd taste. Ginny tried a few appetizers and they all seemed fine. The standout she ordered were the scalloped potatoes. I tried some and they were phenomenal!!! So was the experience more Google Maps or Yelp? Definitely more Yelp, but worth another try!

Outstanding from Start to Finish —Our New Favorite!
Everything we tried here was exceptional! The barramundi is flawless (crispy skin, tender and flavorful), but the prime rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender with perfect seasoning, the surf and turf was an indulgent dream (steak and lobster done right), and the Scottish salmon was rich and beautifully prepared. Started with their homemade soups—comforting and hearty—and those fresh rolls? Warm, buttery perfection.
Lilly, our server, was fantastic: attentive, warm, and made the whole experience even better. We tipped extra because the food and service truly deserved it!
Highly recommend for any occasion. We can’t wait to return!

Taste & Sea has quickly become one of my all time favorite restaurants. Not only is the food AMAZING – I highly recommend the Venison – but the staff is so friendly and kind, the atmosphere is so nice and I love that they have live musicians! I loved this place so much, my fiancé actually worked with the wonderful owners to surprise me with our engagement over the holidays! It was an amazing experience and I am so grateful that Taste & Sea went above and beyond to make that moment special for us! Needless to say, we will be using them for our rehearsal dinner!
Overall I cannot recommend this place enough and if you love good food and supporting small businesses you need to try Taste & Sea!

The atmosphere is upper crust and elegant, and there was live music. The server was very attentive. The dinner rolls were like previously frozen parker house rolls from the grocery store, and the butter served was a whipped and piped unsalted sweetened butter with tiny and sparse chives mixed in. My partner and his father enjoyed their steak dinners and lobster tail. I ordered the rainbow trout special, and it was bland and overcooked, so I had to send it back. The food was priced as though it were a two Michelin star establishment, with dishes ranging about $30-50, which seems very expensive for what you get.

We started with calamari, loaded calamari, clams, and beef Wellington apps — all cooked to perfection. For entrées, we had the filet, surf and turf, tuna steak, salmon, scallops, and the seafood cioppino — each one flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated. Desserts (crème brûlée, chocolate cake, cheesecake) were rich and satisfying. Drinks were well-crafted, and the service was top-tier from start to finish. Highly recommend.
