I’m hearing you have new ownership. Excellent because the chef based on last night’s food and the snow was awesome The wonton soup was very good; the shrimp and lobster sauce was excellent and the shrimp fried rice was very very good. I haven’t been here in a while because it was always laced with heavy salt and I don’t like that. Now you have a new chef and the food is significantly better. Thank you very much.

Wasn’t really going to write a review on this but my choices were call them and have a hard to complete phone call. I did look to see if they had an email, but they don’t. So, here goes. I came to like this place because their food was better quality than most. The service was friendly. And I even ate in at one point. The last two times have been really different. I ordered last week and the young woman who answered the phone and subsequently gave me my food was really disinterested in my presence there. She did the least. Anyhow, I returned home with that feeling we all get before we enjoy our Chinese food in the comfort of our own home. Well, that lasted about 2 minutes. The eggroll, which I tend to eat first was cold and felt like it had been sitting somewhere for hours. I didn’t finish that. Next was the boneless ribs which I have enjoyed so many times. These were dry and barely edible. I did my best but also did not finish. The shrimp fried rice was okay. But at that point it could have been gourmet, and it would have seemed standard. The last and final straw, no noodles and no fortune cookie. My message to management is this, whatever caused the lack of energy in your food is going to cost your bottom line. I don’t think it is the food. It seems more of a work issue. On to the next joint.

The last two times we ate here it was delicious and the service was fine the first time but not what I would call friendly. I’m sorry I can’t say the same for the service the second time. It was a disgrace. . There were five of us and we all came within 15 minutes of each other. The waitress had given the first two people a bowl of noodles and dip and a pot of tea, which was the smallest pot of tea I’d ever seen. So there was no tea left for the rest of us, or for refills. When she finally came over she acted like it was a real pain to wait on us, and she couldn’t wait to move away from the table. We and for two pots of tea, more noodles, more napkins and one person wanted a knife. We all ordered and one of us asked for a can of iced tea. She forgot the knife, forgot the can of tea and only brought one pot of tea, like it’s expensive! It’s too weak to cost anything. Also she only brought us TWO napkins.
It’s a shame because everybody’s food was absolutely delicious, but to be waited on by a person who acts like you’re bothering her is not pleasant. We’re going to try it one more time and if we get the same miserable waitress it’ll be the last time. They need to find a waitress who actually LIKES her job, instead on one who hates her job and her customers. It was the worst service I’ve had anywhere, ever.

This use to be our go to for chinese food. When we moved, we had to switch to somewhere else. This past weekend, we were in the area and ordered from here. We were all EXTREMELY disappointed with the food. There was absolutely NO flavor! They use to have the best singapore mei fun. Its like they forgot to add seasoning to all of our food. Never again!

I have been ordering from Taste Queen for over 20 years. i’m sad to say that under the new ownership and management the food and the customer service is not the same. just got home with our pick up order. One of our items was a special order that I had to pay more for but instead all they gave me was chicken and mixed vegetables in a large size instead of a small and not at all what i ordered and still charged me more. I called to ask them if they could possibly give me a credit towards a future order since we order from here a lot, but they wouldn’t. they offered to correct it, but we would have to go back to pick it up and bring back the food that was wrong. Ew! We will not be ordering from here anymore.

I would give it 4 stars, but food here lacks flavor. They did not gave me napkins or at least one fork.( I know that there is places where you have to indicate if you need any utensils) But most places give you at least a fork and couple napkins lol.
So the food taste and smelled fresh. But the chicken in ho fun was sliced quite thin and still lacked flavor. The chicken fried rice had no chicken and some mixed veggies. I also got pork roll and it got no pork just veggie ( unless there was a mix up lol). The duck sauce that they gave me was weirdly pink and too sweet and instead of mustard they could just give me spicy Mayo or at least more than one packet of soy sauce. I also don’t have the option to choose soup when ordering online. I might try them again like general Tso’s or sweet and sour to compare to my usual place.
In conclusion, food needs more flavor and fork with your order.

Under new ownership and they are terrible. It’s a shame because we used to come here for years. Ownership changed sometime during 2025 and has not been the same since. Food tastes different and customer service is non-existent. Avoid like the plague.
