I went here with my fiance and some friends for Valentine’s night. They gave the women customers roses. It was a nice time! The food, music and vibes were on point. Nice for a couple or solo date night.

I’ve had Jamaican food many times and expected more but this food was mediocre. It wasn’t very flavorful. I paid $13.99 for curry chicken which is pretty high to me but then the price of food has risen astronomically over the last few years.
I most likely want return because the food was to basic. Some may enjoy it but it’s not for me.

This was my first time in here. Super cool spot for a quick lunch. Really good food. I got the oxtail. Came stacked on a pile of rice with some beans in it. The gravy with the ox tail was absolutely delicious. Fine eating! But it’s kinda a rough spot and if you’re unfamiliar with downtown Jackson it may not be the place for you. But damn was it good

Pretty good, super convenient. Food is served cafeteria style so was nice to grab and go. There’s also a few seats if you’d like to dine in. Food was pretty good, oxtails were tender, gravy was right, sides were flavorful.

I purchased the Curry Goat & cabbage. Overall it was really good and if you like spicy food, this would be a nice choice! I paid $19.39 for this plate only, which is a bit expensive to me. The employee/owner were Very nonchalant, but not everyone is talkative. I would come back to visit though.

Very small and efficient family run lunch restaurant. I loved how small it was because the fan cooled the whole place and you could smell nothing but the great food. For downtown jackson the prices are good and you know they have real carribeans making the jerk because they do NOT play about the spice level. The rice n peas and cabbage make more than one meal even for a big man. Definitely worth the drive and price, so I will be back.

The cabbage was salty and crunchy , rice over cooked and the curry chicken didn’t have the flavor I’m accustom to. The plate has three sections and they only put food in two; really? For $10! They ran out of food so around 1pm you have to ask what’s available. The food didn’t have love in it, period. And it’s hotter in the restaurant than it is outside.
