Really fantastic place! Service is really quick, lunch prices are very reasonable and the staff makes you feel welcome. Everything I’ve had so far has been delicious with my favorite dish being the pad see eaw with beef. This is possibly my new favorite Thai restaurant in Springfield and I hope they keep up this quality.

We have been going to Taste of Thai for about 10 years. Our sons are grown and love out of state… when they come home…a trip to TOT is a given. All to say… their food is consistently wonderful, the restaurant is clean and service is friendly and efficient.

I stop at this restaurant every year as we travel to the rendezvous at Fort De Chartre in the fall. I love the food. The waitress is always great. If you say spicy? It’s going to be real spicy and hot. It’s still excellent in a fun place to eat. I don’t think it was super expensive. Not super fancy either.

My favorite Thai food in Springfield. All time favorite Thai restaurant for larb. I eat here whenever I’m in town… the JP dude that reviewed on here I think got the wrong restaurant. Cabbage broth soup comes with lunch at another local restaurant. I can’t imagine why this place would have any really low ratings. Friendly, clean and awesome food. Suggest people at least give it a try!

Man I love this place and they deserve 5 stars but they’re unreliable, so I can’t. Food is awesome if you can catch them when they’re open… like right now, it’s not even 8pm on Saturday night and they decided to close early. Sometimes they close for a few weeks in the summer. Sometimes they run out of stuff like bamboo shoots or almonds. It’s unfortunate, but the people are nice and the food is great if you catch them at a good time!

Taste of Thai is a diamond on the rough. The food is fantastic, as is the service. The owner of this restaurant has a hands on approach. He can be seen cooking, serving, running the cash register, cleaning tables, and just about everything he expects from his employees. He leads by example, and is always smiling and friendly. If you like Thai and Chinese food, don’t miss a Taste of Thai!

My wife showed me this little Thai restaurant and wow food is amazing.
I been trying to find a place that had Mongolian beef like I got from the Golden dragon on ngrand still miss that place .
But this place was great all around, the staff make you feel right at home she was like a family member laughing and joking and super nice .

This is a great little gem of a place hidden away in the old strip mall across from the Crowne Plaza. I don’t frequently find myself in that area of town, but this lovely little Thai spot is always on my list of stops any time I’m on that side of town. They are very accommodating to vegetarian and vegan requests, and the staff has always gone out of their way to be kind and friendly to me and my children. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Work nearby and been eating here for 15 years. Always good Thai food, and friendly service. Would recommend to locals, or people stopping off Interstate 55. My favorite is the Pad Thai or Fried Rice.
