This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in Salt Lake City! First off, the service was impeccable. The waitress constantly checked on us and the food came out very quickly!
We had Tom Kha Soup, Curry Dumplings, Massaman Curry and Panang Curry.
First off if you’ve never had Tom Kha soup… Do yourself a favor and try this dish! It is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Second, both curries we had were cooked perfectly. I really appreciated that they weren’t overly rich! If you’re in the area, stop by this place. 10/10!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. My SO and I really appreciate this peaceful and clean restaurant. Such a calm atmosphere. The owner/host/server is a very kind and polite lady. She has a keen sense of customer service and remembers what we ordered even though it might be weeks between our visits. The food is delicious! The eggplant is one of our favorite dishes!

Taste of Thai is by far the best restaurant in Salt Lake. The atmosphere is great, very classy. And the food is spectacular and we love the servers they’re so friendly and down to earth. This place was insanely good. Thai food has always been my favorite type of cuisine. I’ve gone to MANY Thai places throughout my life. I can’t believe I’m about to say this.. but this place has been my favorite. The curry dumpling appetizer literally changed my life. It was SO GOOD!! Our waiter, Tab, was so sweet and recommended our favorite dish- the Koa Soi chicken. The flavor was so yummy! The environment was also excellent. It was a peaceful vibe. I will be returning as soon as I can and recommending this place to all my friends and family.

I already can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. It’s that good! We went late Friday night for a date night, and I was pleasantly surprised at how cute and stylish the space is. It’s not just another hole-in-the-wall Thai spot. It fits right in with the Sugarhouse aesthetic.
Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavor: lettuce wraps, crab fried rice, crying tiger, and a refreshing longan herbal drink. The service was super friendly, and the food came out quickly, which made the experience even better.
This place is definitely not your average Thai restaurant. Highly recommend!

My family and I came in here for the first time and it completely blew us away. I got the chicken fried rice, and the chili sauce it came with was insane — super flavorful with the perfect kick. The sticky rice? Literally so good. I couldn’t stop eating it. We also tried the dumplings and pot stickers, and they were both amazing — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.
Everything we ordered was beyond good. It’s definitely a little on the pricier side, so don’t come in expecting budget eats, but honestly? It’s 100% worth it. The quality, the flavors, the portions — all of it. I already have a list in my head of what I want to try next time.
The smoked salmon looked incredible too — my mom got it extra spicy and said it was delicious. My stepdad had the orange chicken and loved it. You can tell everything’s made fresh and with care. I’m obsessed.

Great atmosphere when we first walk in, mix of Thai elements and modern design.
Curry dumplings were beyond expectations, have layers in both textures and flavors. Drunken noodle had good flavor, we wish the noodle had more chewiness.
Service was kinda slow since there was only one server at the time (lunch), not for people looking for some quick comfy food.

I’m excited to try this new restaurant in Sugarhouse, as I’ve been to the one in Park City, and I really liked it. Turns out, the owners of both restaurants are sisters, and she was super nice and gave us complimentary butterfly pea drink, which was super refreshing! We ordered the Tom Yum soup, which was the perfect level of spice and tartness, full of shrimp, mushrooms, and onions. Next was the Drunken noodles, and we added an egg, and it was delicious. The pineapple curry with chicken was one of our favorites at the park city location, and it was equally good here. Lastly, the crab fried rice had large chunks of crab and was so flavorful and yummy. I can never not order mango sticky rice for dessert at a Thai restaurant, and this version had a beautiful heart shaped presentation, with pandan sticky rice topped with coconut milk made with a touch of salt that made it sweet and savory, and complimented perfectly with the ample mango slices. We over ordered for just two people, so we can enjoy it again for lunch tomorrow! Will definitely return and so glad they opened up another location so that it’s closer than having to go ask the way to Park City. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!

This is hands down the best Thai food in Utah! Everything is incredibly fresh and flavorful. We’re obsessed with the drunken noodles with coconut and the hot and sour soup—they’re amazing. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is adorable and clean. My boyfriend and I can’t get enough of this place. You’ll love it just as much as we do!
