Incredible food made by kind people!! The staff are super friendly and personable with customers, they even offered me and a few other customers some free pagikeke (sweet, hushpuppy-like treats) to try!! I got the mixed plate and some lumpia, both of which were phenomenal. The beef ribs are soooo yummy, the BBQ chicken is flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes were massive! Definitely worth the price. I’ll be back for more of those pagikeke!!

Best food at the Evergreen State Fair. Such a tasty mixed plate. Definitely recommend all to try. Service was great! When asked about the dessert, the lady gave me two to try. It’s like a fried donut with bits of pineapple in the dough.

“Good food is worth the wait” and the price! I don’t usually like bbq chicken but got a mixed plate and the chicken is SO ONO (good)!!! I WILL DEFINITELY be stopping here again! You can’t really put a price on good “home cooked” food and that’s exactly what this is! Reminds me of when I used to live in Hawaii!!! I know it’s Samoan food but mahalo plenty Auntie!!!

The service here is wonderful! We ended up getting the mixed plate, spam masubi, lumpia, and we got to sample the pagikeke! The staff is super friendly and welcoming! The food is fantastic, you can almost taste the effort put into it. The sauces are homemade which I love, tons of restaurants cut corners and buy premade sauce, but they don’t! The lumpia is crisp and has wonderful flavor. The mixed plate allowed us to try a little bit of everything as well, the ribs were probably our favorite! This is definitely a must stop spot if you’re looking for something new to try! (The plate was beautiful before we dig into it on our way home)

The food here is amazing especially when a full plate is only $15. You really can’t beat that for the quality and portions you get. I love my Island Pacific community and truly believe in supporting our people and their businesses. If you’re an Islander, let’s stop pouring our money into big franchises and start building up our own. When we support each other, we all grow together.

Got food from their trailer in Auburn! Soooooo good! The meat on their beef ribs literally fall off the bone. Tender and flavorful! The people working there are super nice too! Got the pagikeke, beef ribs plate, lumpia and grilled chicken bowl. Love love loveddd them.

Drove past Taste of Samoa on Pacific Ave and I KNEW I had to make a U-Turn to check it out. Friendly service but to be fair every islander I know is an amazing human.
Prices can be more expensive than what you’re used to for islander BBQ but c’mon support your small businesses. I ordered the Beef Ribs plate and while the rice and mac salad were decent, (it’s hard to mess up anyways) the ribs were the star of the show. They weren’t exactly fall off the bone tender but BOY WERE THEY DELICIOUS. Only thing I’d recommend is that the chefs dry brine the ribs before cooking it up in the sauce because some of the meat closest to the rib was void of any flavor but regardless, 9/10 on the plate for me and far better than what’d you’d get from L&L.

Had this at the Evergreen State fairgrounds. This food truck is RIDICULOUSLY good. Beef ribs: , chicken: , mac salad (the black pepper they put makes it incredible): . The crew is super cool as well, great people running this truck!! If there are a lot of food truck options around, I would pick this over almost anything.

Went to do grocery shopping at Saar & came across this restaurant. My wife is Samoan & she loves it when she see business from her homeland. Went there to check it out & the service was AMAZINGGGG. The two boys were very welcoming and nice. Got home and my wife says it’s a taste from home. Thank you for the awesome and service & food.
