Ordered oxtails and fried plantain platter, white rice, sweet potato, roti and got a dipping sauce. First of all everything was so delicious, great portions and incredible service. Halfway through I got so full but wanted to keep eating because of how delicious and fresh everything was. The gentleman at the restaurant was incredibly kind, offered a small container of curry chicken for me to try since it was my first time. That gesture was a great example of how they care for their customers. Unfortunately I declined the offer as I am too shy , but trust me I regret it after tasting everything. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. And I will be back to try the curry chicken and other items.

This place is the absolute best. Great communication and fantastic people! I ordered the oxtails with steamed rice and macaroni and cheese, a side order of Jerk Chicken and originally an upside down pineapple cake. They immediately phoned me and notified me that they no longer had any cake. They proceeded to give me options to choose as a replacement. Now as a customer, I absolutely love that the restaurant was considerate and gave me options to choose in place of the cake. The Jerk Chicken is flavorful, moist and delicious. The oxtails were packed full of flavorful herbs and spices and you got a mouthful of delicious tenderism! Whenever I’m in the Hagerstown area, I’ll most definitely be ordering some food from this place!

1st time customer. Went in with my own connotations of how mi h will I be disappointed, as Im far from family who cooks authentic Yawdee dishes so im always skeptical when seeing Jamacian resteraunts. The man behind the counter was very polite and patient with me , gave samples before having me order blindly. The taste is definitely “Reggae” lol , I am very pleased and for sure will return. Portions are proper, and not skimpy on the meats . Big Up Taste of Reggae

Nice enough people, but the vast majority of time, this restaurant is out of something. It tends to be the one thing I’m looking for. Usually oxtails. Food was okay one time. The other time, not so much. Won’t be trying again.
UPDATE: The other two Jamaican restaurants in town have both closed down. Although I said I would not be trying this restaurant again, my wife convinced me to let her call and at least check to see if they had oxtail… And boy did they. If they continue to have oxtail consistently, and it’s as good as it was today, FIVE STARS ALL DAY! Food was delicious. The woman working was friendly and she made sure I was satisfied. Really hope it stays this way!

Loved the food, had the ox tail and it was plentiful just wish there would have been more “stew” in the bottom lol the strawberry cake is tasty…will definitely be back!

The girl that took my order forgot her name was amazing. Didn’t expect her to ask me questions and have very great service. Food is amazing. Be careful though very hot. And also, I was very thirsty and asked if I could use tap water to drink and they gave me a free water bottle so shout out to them for the free water bottle. Definitely check this place out.!

Food is yummy. Got curry chicken, goat, Rasta pasta, beef patties, and Mac and cheese. I did a door dash order, and one of the sides I had ordered was out but they were quick to call me and have it swapped to something else and even threw in the beef patties for the trouble. Super friendly on the phone. I’m kinda wimpy when it comes to spice, but this was all flavorful without being too spicy for me. Only minor complaint would be it’s a tad more bone then I’d prefer, but the portions are huge, I have plenty of food to split for lunch and dinner tonight.

I just got the large curry goat with mac and cheese, rice and peas, and a side of coca bread. By FAR one of the best meals I have EVER had! Seasoned perfectly, moist but not mushy. I’ve read some negative reviews about the meat having bones, or too much fat. They honestly made me laugh. Bones let ya know it’s real homemade food, and fat adds flavor. My goat had both, and a TON of meat. You could tell the sides were homemade, and the rice was cooked perfectly too. The service was outstanding! Greeted with a smile, made sure I could see i was getting what i ordered to make sure i was happy with what i got. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews who don’t know what great food is! Definitely going back again!

Ordered a buy 1 get 1 free deal relieved only 1. I called the restaurant and a lady told me that I only ordered 1 food and she’s only seeing 1 Order on her side and on my Uber eats side showing me I have 2 food which is the deal but either way, I am glad they did mi a favor and sent one is the worst taste of food I ever eaten disgusting. This place is amazing! The food tastes so fresh and authentic, it honestly reminded me of being in Jamaica. The jerk chicken had the perfect kick, the curry goat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the rice and peas with plantains tied it all together.
The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home, and the vibe inside is warm and welcoming. Portions are generous, prices are fair.
Definitely my new go-to spot for Jamaican food — can’t wait to go back!
