These guys serve up a decent Philly. In fact, they have several variations of the classic to choose from. I had the mushroom Philly – mushrooms and onions. It was a good sandwich. The small (8″) was plenty. Also ordered onion rings. Not bad. A bit greasy for my liking, but I do enjoy a good batter. Only complaint was the ranch. I think it was bottled store bought, would have preferred homemade. Service was good, albeit slow getting my receipt. Seems they only have one lady who attends the diners and operates the cash register. But the staff are friendly.

The other locations In this town are nowhere near the quality cleanliness, and service they made everything exactly as I ordered and were very kind and attentive as well . Im highly impressed

It’s crazy to take the effort to fly proper bread in from Philly, allegedly, but to fill it half way with burnt Cisco grade beef is just embarrassing. Your 3rd party delivery services are all cheeks, I’m not paying the price of a hoagie to get my food delivered cold by some doordash addict. Kensington Ave grade cheesteaks at best.

Back when I was younger and hadn’t tried that many restaurants I used to think this place was amazing. As I started expanding my palate, this place started to slowly go down on my list. It’s not that it’s bad, rather I have had some amazing philly cheesesteak sandwiches and so this place just doesn’t wow me like it used to.
I always get The Works and usually sub out the American for Swiss as that is my preferred cheese. The last time, I did this but also added provolone and the sandwich was really good. I prefer this to the white American because the Swiss has a more mellow profile, so you can catch the flavor of the other ingredients.
The fries are a smaller cut. When they come out crispy they are really good, and also have a good overall flavor to them in general. I like the tenders too, although they are generic frozen tenders. I don’t know what brand they are but I have had them before at other restaurants. Pre-breaded and straight from freezer to fryer, but they are pretty decent although I wouldn’t go to this restaurant just for them.
The grilled cheese is really good too and is probably my favorite tasting thing on the menu, but I would probably say it’s a little overpriced for what you get because it’s a really small sandwich.

I picked up food from this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and had an overall good experience.
The parking is easy and accessible, the restaurant itself is pretty old and could use an update, but wasn’t dirty at all (just showing its age).
The food was prepared quickly and correctly and the taste was good. Not close to the best philly cheesesteak that I’ve had, but not bad (very packed with meat, which was nice!). Price-wise, I feel that they are in the typical range for this category of food.
All in all, a pretty good experience – definitely worth grabbing when you want a quick and tasty meal!

The wife and I went here to order take out for a quick lunch. Staff was decently rude and the food was well below expectation. We ordered just fine, and got our food. We never got the cup for the drink and seemed to not have the forks for the cheese fries. When my wife went to let them know we didnt get the forks or drink, the lady who took our order rudely handed her the cup and said “the forks are in there”. I double checked, and the forks were at the bottom of the bag with the food directly over top. Normal bagging would have the plasticware on top so its visible, and wouldnt just say “its in there” rudely. Once I confirmed the forks were in there, she just nodded her head and rolled her eyes at us like “duh”. We then proceeded to eat the food once reaching our destination, and it was terrible. For averaging $10/item it was extremely disappointing. My wife got a turkey avocado wrap, and it was 90% lettuce (bad and already browning) with about 1.5-2 pieces of turkey on it, barely any guac or tomatoes. Might as well have been a shredded lettuce wrap. My large Italian grinder was about 3 pieces of meat with minimal veggies, little cheese and mostly the hoagie roll. Might as well have just given me a piece of bread. Crazy bad portions and service for a $40 order. Will not be returning to this location again

I’ve only had Taste of Philly delivered, but even then everything is absolutely phenomenal! You KNOW they’re serious when you can get Cheez Whiz! I’d add a pic, but I’ve almost demolished the cheese steak I’m currently eating. Like taking a picture of a vandalized Monet painting.

We were greeted with the friendliest smile, then the cheese steak sandwich was the best we’ve had! So delicious, hot and fresh!! Highly recommend

A good spot to grab an “almost” authentic Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Friendly and cheerful staff, sanitary dining area, but my take home sandwich just wasn’t quite all that tasty, like maybe the steak was freezer burned. I will probably give them another chance anyway, as have never had a bad experience before.
