Original location going strong! The owner/manager was extremely friendly, and the food hit the spot! Have been craving a chicken Philly for some time now & haven’t found a place that satisfies… How’d I forget about Taste of Philly? Just a really good quality philly – bread was semi soft, ingredients were fresh! If you’re looking for a Philly, you gotta get one from here! Thank you!

This is probably one of the worst sandwiches I have ever had in my life Ryan. I don’t understand what your problem is tonight, but this is probably the worst sandwich you could’ve ever put any love into. Secondly, I ordered the fried mushrooms. Those were very undercooked. Thank you for being a friendly guy, but your food sucks. Why would you put all this mayonnaise on my sandwich but not enough meat not enough vegetables I will never be back to this restaurant again and I will Never order from this restaurant again. There’s a first time for everything and this was my first time trying this place because I thought it was better than pats You guys are just as bad as pat Philly cheese. Friendly service. Had the original, good bread steak is good although a little salty. Closer in taste to one in Philadelphia than other places offering it in Denver.

When looking for a place to eat, the food is only one part of the package.
Food: Good flavor, hot, out to the table in good time.
Atmosphere: The dining area is small but did not have much traffic on a Saturday at lunch. Music playing over the speaker was R-rated, luckily I don’t offend easily. Some do.
Cleanliness: Not good. Walls are dirty, my feet were sticking to the floor. Cleaned the tables and seats myself before sitting. White lysol wipes were brown afterwords. Grease and food on the floor of the prep area, counters and drink station dirty. Vent overhead was coated in grease and appears to be dripping.
Cleaned up, it would be a good business.

I’d say leave this one alone for a few years. I ordered a sandwich with no onions easy task you would think got out to my truck. It’s gonna eat it on the way back to the job site. I ordered the sandwich with no onions loaded with onions. went back inside to get my money back they just walked away and made me a new sandwich so I had to wait another five minutes. I won’t be back and I won’t recommend anyone else go there. They only do one thing and they can’t get it right there was nobody else in the store. Sorry guys.

Great Philly at a reasonable price. The inside of the store needs a little TLC, but you can’t deny that they make some of the best Cheesesteaks around. I got the original with no onions, mayonnaise, and extra cheese. It was really good and not too greasy and not runny at all. If you’re in the area I’d stop by if you wanted a good lunch.

Went in for a sandwich. It was close to closing time, but they still helped myself and a buddy of mine. Ordered the Mushroom Philly. Good quality sandwich , considering how friendly they were when they were getting ready close speaks to something. I’ll be back for sure.

Our group Had the green chili cheesesteak, the club sandwich, and the hand and cheese. Everything was great and the folks could not have been nicer. Atmosphere is simple, but it works. Ridiculous that other reviews are blaming them for the sidewalk!?

Delicious Philly, the staff was friendly, and the cook brought out my giant double meat/extra provolone Philly and told me to enjoy it :). Im from New Mexico came to visit Denver for the first time and I am so happy I ended up here since I am a very picky eater since I’m originally born in a big town (Los Angeles, California: had the best food ever), so this place took me by surprise how good the sub was makes me want to get another one before I go; Unfortunately, I leave by 4 AM this morning, but at least I will have fond memories of how good the sub was from here! Thanks guy and keep killing it with your delicious phillys w/h Provolone!!! Highly recommend to anybody looking for a good sub!
