First time stopping in and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the green chili cheesecake, very tasty and loaded with steak. Only wished I got extra cheese or cheese whiz on it. Not a cheesesteak when you have to hunt for the cheese. The popper pepper cheesesteak was equally tasty, just needed more cream cheese. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is no frills, not much different than Grand Junction, but kudos for not wasting money on upgrading the area. I’ll need to explore more options on the menu, the Ruben caught my eye. Looking for good hot sandwich, give them a try.

I got the battered mushroom and the meatball grinder (sub) and I enjoyed it. If you enjoy mushrooms, then this would be a great change of things! I personally liked them but I did have flavor fatigue so it was definitely hard to finish. As for the meatball grinder (sub), I would say this was pretty good! I loved how they cut the meatballs and arrange it to where every bite will have an even amount of meat to bread ratio. The meatballs in general are flavorful, but I do wish it had more of a “bite” to it.

Overall, I would recommend the meatball grinder—it was a solid sandwich.

This not acceptable… My husband enjoys their subs and I can’t speak for him. However, the fries and cheese curds are disappointing. When he ordered there previously these sides were ok. I understand it’s fried food but not only are they wet and soggy the food smells of old disgusting oil. I called to simply tell them my opinion and understand people have bad days but the frying of these items should be done better. His reply, “Nobody else is complaining about it.” Gross

Plain Jane but absolutely delicious. I regret not putting cheese whiz on my Phillie but there’s always another meal. Service was super fast, sandwiches are HUGE, and most importantly tasty.

Stopped in for a late lunch with my family and the sandwiches are amazing. I don’t think I have ever had a Philly this good and the service was really fast and the person who made our food was very nice and courteous… we will definitely be back again soon

We’ve ordered from Taste of Philly before and enjoyed it, but this time was a big disappointment.

We ordered two Large Cheesesteaks and 12 wings. One sandwich came out great, full of meat and toppings, hearty and just like you’d expect. The other (mine) was completely different: dry, skimpy, mostly bread with barely any meat. I thought it was Subway for a second. For $15.79, a Large Cheesesteak should be hearty from end to end, not flavorless and empty with thin layer of meat lost in all that bread. The difference between the two sandwiches in the same order was huge, and that’s frustrating.

The wings were just okay — not terrible, but not memorable either.

Altogether, the order came to $60.86 with delivery. That’s a lot to spend on food that feels inconsistent. When Philly cheesesteaks are your specialty, that’s one thing you can’t miss the mark on. Sadly, this time it fell short.

Had a great experience, food was delicious, had a awesome chicken Philly and pretzel bites with cheese Wiz. It was fantastic, employees were super nice and polite, fair pricing, very chill atmosphere. I will be back for sure. Thanks for bringing around a great sandwich shop.

Great service and yummy food. I’ve only been to Taste of Philly two times so far, but both experiences were fantastic! The first time, I wasn’t sure what to order, so the gentleman behind the counter recommended a few different types of their Philly sandwiches. I ended up getting the Pepper Cheesesteak Philly, which really hit the spot. The second time I ordered online for pickup, and when I got there, the gentleman behind the counter remembered my name and my order from last time! He even gave me a few more recommendations! I’m excited to try some of their other menu items next time. 🙂

wife and I went for lunch today. ordered an OG Philly, and it was excellent. the fries were nice and crispy, and as odd as it sounds, the real high point was the bread. there’s just something about bread from the east coast, and the fact that they get theirs from Philadelphia genuinely shines through. Definitely gonna go back to try other variants.
