I didn’t know about this place because it’s not visible from the street. You have to turn into an alleyway to be able to get here. I think the food is awesome. It has way more options than tacoria. I got the shrimp and tilapia soup and I liked it. I really like the rice here. My friends got a variety of options like the burrito and enchiladas, and they all liked it. It’s also very affordable and the portion sizes are large. They accommodated a group of 18 people. It’s my favorite Mexican place in Princeton so far.

This place is perfect for get together with friends and great food. The seating is rather limited, but the prices are reasonable and the dishes have bigger portions. I enjoy their fresh chips and their burrito al pastor. One of my go tos on Nassau Street.

The bistik Tampiquena was tasty with juicy steak and great mole. The chicken fajitas were very good and notably included spinach, which was great.

Today I went to this restaurant and had a bad experience with the lady who works there. I don’t know if she is the owner or the worker, if she is the owner I think she should have a little more empathy with her customers but she doesn’t know how to express herself better. I arrived very happy and sat at a table of 4 people, but I actually went alone and the lady told me that I can’t sit there because it’s only for when they go with more people, but I felt comfortable at that table and she sent me to a corner that even that table was a little dirty, I didn’t think it’s mandatory for you to go with a lot of people so you can sit at a table of four people, I would have understood if the restaurant was full, but it wasn’t there. I went with my soda that I had bought somewhere else a while ago because it is one of my favorites in meals and it tells me that I can’t be with that drink that drinks from other places are not allowed unless it is an alcoholic drink, which was the restaurant’s policy and he insisted that I keep it, I didn’t notice what they had written that you can’t bring your drink however, the drink was not open and the drink was small and I wasn’t the only one who was with a drink, there was a table of Three guys who still arrived with their drinks and he didn’t tell them anything, it will be because there were three of them it was obvious that they were going to consume more and since she didn’t let me have my drink or sit where I was comfortable, I told her that it was okay that it is no longer necessary for her to serve me the food that I took away the desire to eat and I asked her if she had the drink I wanted and she told me no that they don’t sell that drink it’s not the first time I go to this place I even ordered by line but it will definitely be The last time I went I put this complaint so if you go, be careful of me personally it made me feel bad.

Such a hidden gem!! We got tacos, flautas, and enchiladas and everything was absolutely delicious and extremely fresh! The shrimp tacos were fantastic, and the food was very high quality without a ton of salt, which is always appreciated when it comes to Mexican food! Highly recommend!

Best local spot in Princeton for Mexican. Affordable during lunch, tasty, and convenient. The size of the burrito is great as well.

This is rated #2 after Tortuga’s, Princeton, you can do better! We ordered nachos but you’d never know based on what arrived at our table. This soppy mess had no flavor or texture and was topped with strips of wet lettuce and thin, bland chicken. There were no jalapeños or seasoning of any kind detectable. We needed a side of chips to eat the little bit we tried because the soft, wet ones under the goppy mess were unable to hold anything on them. So very disappointing, will not return.
