This is it! This is the place you’re looking for. It’s like taking a mini-vacation to the Mediterranean. The aroma alone is enough to know you’re about to get into something good! The warm ambiance and friendly staff was a bonus.
The gyro meat was perfectly cooked, offering a tender and flavorful taste. The spices were well-balanced, and the tzatziki sauce was rich and creamy. The hummus was great and the pita is exactly what you want from pita. The fresh cucumber salad was spot-on and really rounded out the dish. The rice portion was slightly large, but this is a minor detail.
The baklava was excellent. The attention to detail was evident. It’s probably one of the best I ever had. I’ll eat here everytime I’m in the area!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, genuine smiles and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family from the owners themselves. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming making the dinning experience so wonderful.
But let’s talk about the real star: the food. It’s nothing short of spectacular. Everything we tried was bursting with bold, rich flavors that truly transport you straight to the heart of the Mediterranean. Whether it’s the perfectly seasoned shawarma, the tender kabobs, melt in your hand falafel or the fresh, vibrant hummus and amazing baklava— everything tastes like it was crafted with care and tradition. You can tell these recipes have roots and history. It’s the kind of food that stays on your mind long after the meal is over.
The portions are also extremely generous — you’re not just paying for quality, but quantity as well. I always leave full, satisfied, and with leftovers I can’t wait to enjoy tomorrow!

The best middle eastern food in Fairfield and Vacaville!! The meats are all so tender and moist. The portions are huge and the quality is always consistent. The owners are also so friendly and kind. My family and I love this place!

Great food and amazing service!!! I had the Kafta Kabob Plate!!! It was so filling me and my friend took our plates to finish eating for dinner. The server was so nice and gave me some baklava on the house!!!
I definitely want to try the other items on the menu. But the Kafta plate had amazing flavor.

Very nice Mediterranean place with decent range of food options. Popular with service members from the local base and we’re happy to drive over from one town away. Small shop but staff are working hard, keeping the place clean, and serving up generous portions. Prices reasonable considering we can often share or have enough left over for another light meal.

From start to finish, me and my wife had a great experience. Everything was very clean and people were very friendly, the food…oh the food. Delicious is almost an insult it was so good. Love how close it is to the base, I will definitely be back.

I ordered my office team lunch today with delivery via Door Dash. Not all of our items were delivered. I attempted to contact the Dasher who never responded via phone or text in the app. I called the restaurant and inquired if items were left behind. The restaurant assured me that all of the items in our ordered were carefully packed and double checked. I could tell from our receipt that items were checked off as they were double checked from the kitchen to the counter. I believe the restaurant. They apologized despite the fact that it was not their fault.
They quickly prepared another order for us and personally delivered the food to our office. Not only is their food delicious… their customer service is next level. I mean no other restaurant takes this much care to ensure their customers have a good experience. Thank you Taste of Mediterranean… my office raves about your food and we appreciate the extra care taken today for our team.
We will surely order in the future and recommend your restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean cuisine. We will not use Door Dash for the delivery.

Went in today around 7pm and ordered a roast beef sandwich. I had been thinking about it all day since seeing a review on Facebook. I know it’s not what you would think to order at a Mediterranean place but I’m so glad I did! It’s so worth it and delicious. There was a lot of meat on it so you’re really getting your moneys worth. It comes with sauce tomatoes onions and cheese. There were two staff working at the time and they were very respectful and kind. I’ve ordered other plates from here before as well and it’s always great! I really wish I got better pictures like the woman on fb to show how big and delicious it looks in person
