****PHENOMENAL FOOD – OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE****
Since I have had the pleasure to dine at this restaurant, I will NOT go anywhere else for this type of cuisine!! My first time ordering, I ordered the chicken over rice. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, the yellow rice was not bland and paired well with the chicken and pita bread. It also came with a salad (side) that had an option to add jalapeños which was a nice kick! I visited a few more times after, and continued to order the chicken over rice, but one recent visit I had a conversation with one of the employees, and inquired about other dishes they offered, and advised of my allergies. He provided a sample of the chicken marsala – boy oh boy!!!! I was hooked!! the chicken is marinated in a tomato based sauce, and you taste all the spices and herbs, over a bed of rice and a salad on the side. The chicken marsala is normally packaged separately, chicken in one container with the sauce, and rice in another. However, I asked for it to be all in one container and the employee was more than accommodating. The way you are treated here as a customer, is how customer service should be!! The employees are there to please you, and make sure you are getting exactly what you want. The care and attention given to the food, you know they love what they do!!!! Go visit Taste of Marsala!! Legit establishment! I ordered poori and masala chai- they were prefect!!!! Will come back to dine here. Note: I have been ordering poori from downtown albany restaurants and they seem to assume customers don’t know what poori is anymore. I had one restaurant make an oven roasted nan bread and another mixed whole grain nan batter to make poori- none were poori! This place makes the authentic poori i adore! And the masala chai was perfect; the tannins were sharp and it had everything I expect of a good masala chai. Trust my judgement- I am an nyc native and had the privilege of eating Indian/Pakistani food on Roosevelt ave off the 7 train. This place takes me back there. Maybe I should visit India or Pakistan someday

We are so happy they reopened. The food is always fresh and consistently delicious. I really hope they keep butter chicken on the menu as so few places have it and it is the best. The vegetable samosas and garlic naan are great too! One of our favorite places in the area to order from.

If a pile of food, so spicy its inedible is your jam, this is your place. The walls weren’t painted with visible sparkle showing, the server wanted us in and out and did as much as he could to rush us along and the food – jeeze, I like spicy but when the food is so spicy you can’t taste the actual flavor, well again if that’s your favorite this is your place. Went to Taste of Marsala — the food seriously hits if you enjoy real spice. Flavors feel authentic, not toned down, and every dish we tried was on point. Portions are generous and service was attentive without hovering. Huge menu too… honestly more than my stomach could handle in one visit. Already planning a second round just to try the rest. Definitely coming back.

Food is always on spot! The manager of the store-Jaffar is a very sweet person. The very first time we came here, he served us all (we group of four) chai on the house! We always come here and every time the food taste and the service never fail to amuse us.

the food is great and taste very fresh, and they make it spicy or not and it is so true with the flavor. the place is neat and clean and very friendly staff, and they cater with a great smile and welcoming. they moved to a new location near CVS in east Greenbush and it is very convenient. the Karchi, Nan, Biryani is great but you have to try all in the menu as i have come many times and every time it is great food.

The new location is modern and clean.
We ordered take out and the service was great. Food was done quickly and you can’t beat the prices!! The new menu has 1 person portions for $10 and 2 person portion for around $19!
