This was the best lobster roll I have eaten on this vacation and I have tried six! The service was phenomenal at the bar where they took my order as we had to sit outside with our pup. The hot lobster roll was so fresh and sweet and tender. The bun was perfect with just enough butter. And there was so much lobster I never ate dinner! The fries were great too . We ate outside and the view was beautiful. We will most definitely eat here again when in the area.

Super crowded on a Sunday buffet day, all you can eat for $30, but we don’t do buffet style (custmer’s bad food handling practices, yuck), so we ordered from the menu. Just stopped for a quick bite on our way to Rockport and Camden. The clam chowder was excellent, not the thick creamy type so be prepared. The crab dip appetizer was good, but not great, it lacked some flavor. But I’m spoiled by my husband’s smoked salmon (Coho) dip, so nothing can compare.

It was very crowded, but service was great. It’s a fun place to go to see the vintage collections housed there, everything from head vases to glass bottles, hand carved miniature furniture, and an old telephone booth. The sailing ship mounted in the side of the restaurant encased in glass is a sight to see. The view is great and the restaurant is in a gorgeous setting.

I seldom give 5 star ratings, but this place deserves it! First, their decor is awesome. There is a giant artificial lobster on the roof. That’s right, a giant lobster. I was driving by, saw that and “I know where I’m going for lunch. The inside desire is lobster fisherman themed, and every shelf, corner, etc. Has intriguing items on it. The staff welcomed us warmly and sat us right away. The dining room looks out over the water. There is patio seating as well. Now for the food. Tiffany, our server was friendly, professional and efficient. The meal was well prepared, seasoned and in served in generous portions. It was delicious!

Great impromptu spot for lunch! The “crabster” roll was delicious and quite generously sized for the price. The house-made Blueberry Cobbler was divine. Our server Megan was super helpful. Super kitschy atmosphere… but the food is seriously good!

The absolutely BEST! Our server was the best, great suggestions, no rush! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! The crab roll & lobster roll were beyond 5 stars! The lobster stew had a whole lobster in it, the base was tasty & it was served HOT! I CAN’T SAY ENOUGH IT WAS SO SO GOOD! The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was very nice! We will be going back!

The food is always amazing. The waitress we had was attentive and friendly. We have had a few different servers in our time going there. We went two times this year and the food is always amazing. We always enjoy the haddock sandwich, buffalo wings and also the mozzarella sticks. The fried calamari was fresh and nice. I highly recommend stopping at this family restaurant.

The taste of Maine did not disappoint anyone in our party. We started strong with drinks and apps then went full tilt with a variety of plates all the food was amazing hot delicious and well worth the price paid. I recommend the world’s longest lobster roll even if you split it in thirds it’s plenty for each person involved

Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere! My husband and I are visiting from FL. He had the lobster pie that was loaded with actual lobster and delicious. I had the fried haddock sandwich and it was super flavorful. Highly recommend this restaurant. Just look for the huge on top of the roof!!

A touristy restaurant that looks over the river and had a neat atmosphere. Gluten free options are available. I had the lobster roll and it was just okay, not too much flavor. The gluten free pie was a nice surprise, but just alright.

Depends what you are looking for, if you are in the mood for a very good roadside restaurant catering to tourists, the menu is impressive with a lot of variety including huge lobster rolls to share. Atmosphere is nice with big parking lot, big interior, and decent water overlook patio. I enjoyed the meal, but probably will stick with more local fish pound options.
