Delicious food and great service. Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and we ordered the falafel and hummus bowl and chicken shawerma platter. The portions are a good size and everything was delicious. The service was pretty quick and food came out hot. I can’t wait to go back to try new items from the menu.

The food at Taste of Jerusalem is divine! My husband and I have become regulars. We love the chicken kebab. Last night the owner or manager, not sure which, gave us a sample of the lentil soup. It was so flavorful. He also gave a sample of the falafel and the stuffed grape leaves. They were both delicious too. Now it will be more difficult trying to decide what to order because there are so many flavorful options! The restaurant is in a small store front, nothing fancy but clean and pleasant. The pictures are of the falafel, grape leaves with sauce, and Jerusalem salad (spicy and fantastic – we put it on our chicken kebab); chicken kebab (with rice, a side of hummus, and a garlic sauce/spread); and baklava for dessert.

This place is amazing!! We decided to check it out based on the previous reviews and man are we glad we did! My husband is a typical meat and potatoes guy but I have a dairy allergy and gravitate towards Mediterranean cooking. The owner was amazing and accommodated my allergy very easily. He even brought us complimentary appetizers so we could try other dairy free options. We ordered the two most popular dishes and they had incredible flavor and were cooked to perfection. 10/10 recommend!

It’s hard to describe just how good this place is. I drove over 20 minutes two nights in a row to eat here. Everything is good, but order the kabobs. The chicken is probably my favorite! The men working here seem to take genuine pride in making sure that you have a delicious meal you will enjoy. I’m only sad I have to go back home to SC tomorrow and cannot continue to eat here. Absolutely excellent!

My boyfriend and I were looking to try something new. We drive by this place all the time. We finally tried and did not disappoint. Great service and you can tell they care about their customers. What a great place for the area, and it even has gf options! The food was delicious and we all greatly enjoyed what we ordered.
Additionally, they are gluten free friendly, which is a fantastic find for those who are gf.
