It’s a disgrace to call it sushi, “All you can eat” is bunch of cheap rolls with very little fish, mostly artificial crab and cucumbers stuffed in it.

Went here and took my staff. The appetizers are really wonderful and yummy, but the rolls and special rolls you order extremely disappointing. I am a foodie and I explore all the japanese restaurants in town, this is the only place who serve refrigerator cold rolls and special rolls. I brought it up to waiter and she said : “really?” This place can be such a valuable restaurant if they dont have rolls or special rolls previously made and kept in the fridge to serve. Come here only for the appetizer, but not for main meals.

The Taste of Japan is more like taste of rubber – as soon as we walked in the host seemed unwelcoming threw us the menus we had to order ourselves she didn’t seem very friendly. Food was just ok . Noodles tasted like absolute rubber non edible way too chewy . Sushi was fine other than hard crab some ingredients seem to be expired . Other than the food the establishment was unsanitary ( look at picture for bug on our table ) not worth the visit DO NOT RECOMMEND! Would never come back I felt invisible to the unkind worker definitely not worth the $75 very sketchy

It was one of the only sushi restaurants open on a Sunday. I’ve been there before 2 years ago and it was great then. And just as great now. The craftsmanship and detail put into each roll. And the flavor just amazing . Must check this place out! Definitely get the kiwi, caterpillar, and Iceland rolls.

I’ve eaten at Taste of Japan many times, and the food, especially the all-you-can-eat meal, never disappointed me. The food quality is comparable to what you would expect from a good Japanese restaurant. With the $19.9 all-you-can-eat option, you will get complimentary hot tea, miso soup, and salad with an Asian salad dressing that’s not too sweet. In addition, you can order anything on the menu under the Appetizer and dessert sections. On a separate sheet of paper, from which there are various fresh sushi selections you can select.
I’m not giving it a five star, because there are areas that the restaurant can improve on. As others have complained, the restaurant is probably short on staff, so the wait time is unexpectedly long. If you are in a rush, I wouldn’t suggest you go there. Expect to make at least 75 min for a satisfying all-you-can-eat sushi experience.

Fu is the chef and he is very friendly and makes some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The all you can eat is 100% worth it. This is Osaka or California Rollin. This is good stuff. Also comes with appetizer and soup and salad. However it’s very slow. We showed up at 5 and were the only ones there and it took about 2 hours of time. So great food great price and very slow. Will be back!

The sushi chef is a wonderful man and very dedicated to his craft. He takes the time to carefully prepare every roll so that it is flawless. He’s also fun to talk to. The service is relaxed and even paced. We did the endless sushi menu option and could not have been more satisfied. As a plus, the restaurant is family owned and operated. Everything we had was high quality.

I went in for lunch on a Thursday, no one was in the restaurant. The waitress could have cared less that I was there. Pleasant enough, but no warm welcome. After I order, she goes in the kitchen, and I could clearly hear her and the chef have a yelling match. And I was the only one there, so I could hear everything. All in all, the sushi was ok. I’m not sure I’ll go back. It was a very awkward lunch.

My boyfriend and his father and I went out for lunch. It was very slow and peaceful there. Food is beautiful and delicious. Price for all you can eat is 24.95, which is cheap compared to other places. Open later too.

Expect a reasonably long wait when you come here, it’s run by 2 people but the sushi gets made as you wait and it is top notch! We had salmon roll, dynamic roll and shrimp killer roll. It’s tasty, fresh and cheap!
