I ordered the oxtail combo with jerk chicken, peas and rice, steamed cabbage and yams. I also had a beef patty. Beef patty was good and flaky. The steamed cabbage is good. While the oxtails taste fine I’m disappointed that there isn’t any of the oxtail juice/ gravy. They are dry, the rice is also dry. I’m accustomed to gravy always being on the rice. I didn’t ask for gravy because I assumed the oxtails would have juice/gravy as I’ve always had it at other restaurants. The yams were HORRIBLE. Not only are they an unnatural color they just taste bad. Back to the oxtails they almost weren’t there for the minuscule amount that’s included. Three slivers of oxtail. I had no idea you could even cut them this thin! The audacity to charge 20anything for them is a crime. I definitely feel robbed for $42 when the only thing I was completely happy with was the beef patty. I’ve been eating Jamaican food my entire life and this was a huge disappointment. My advice is to actually offer oxtails and not these slivers of bone and gristle and add the Juice/gravy if said meat because letting them dry out on top of the dry rice doesn’t help when they’re so thin to start with.

We went here tonight wow what a great place to eat I had the ox tail with red beans and rice , wife had curry chicken with the same and the kids had dark jerk chicken. The food has some spice but they can cool it down if you ask. I would recommend this place to anyone amazing just amazing.

First time trying the place out. Got the wings meal with corn, Mac and Cheese, and the rice with beans. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. The wings were very tasty didn’t think I needed the sauce. Adding the sauce brought it up to a whole nother level. A little sweet a little spicy. The Mac and cheese was good and so was the corn. I drizzled that sauce on both as well. It elevated everything. The rice and beans definitely wasn’t dry. Will go back to try more options.
Update: Went back and got the spare ribs. As much as I wanted wings I wanted to sample more of the menu. Everything again came out piping hot and fresh. Ribs were super tender and juicy. I love their version of dumplings. I dip it right in the extra sauce.

I wish there was a 6 star for atmosphere. The dark jerk chicken is amazing, the plantains are incredible, and the rice and beans and Mac and cheese are also incredible. They also have traditional Jamaican soda. Highly recommend trying ginger beer.

got the chicken dinner white and. Everything about this place from the smell when you pull up in the parking lot, the smell inside is AMAZING, food came out quickly, super hot and fresh. Definitely the best Jamaican food in the entire NWI REGION.

Nice, little local establishment. The food was pretty good. Wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese. (Tasted a little old and dried out), but the rest of the food was great. Ordered online and wait time was about 15 min longer than was told.

Had a wonderful lunch here. Had their jerk wings and a beef patty. Husband had a rib tips plate. They have us some samples of a delicious beef soup. Everything was superb. Staff is super friendly.

The jerk pasta we’ll have you coming back for me. It’s creamy, it’s a little bit spicy but it’s jerk, the noodles are nice and bouncy, the sauce and the amount they give u is worth every penny!

Every time I come to Gary, I have to swing by. I love the curry goat, best I have found since leaving the islands. They introduced me to their seafood soup this time and it was great. If you want a great meal at a great price visit here. You won’t be disappointed

I got the jerk chicken and ribs. The box was literally smoking when I got it so it was super fresh. The ribs were mediocre and tasted and looked more like oxtails which thru me off but they have some of the best jerk chicken I’ve had period. The jerk sauce is a little too herby instead of flavorful too but it was a pretty good experience all in all
