This is my first time here. I’m not sure if I want a bad day or what but the food was not good had no flavor at all none at all I ordered the brown stew chickenf and oxtails and for what I paid I would expect it for my mind to be blown but like I said I don’t know if I went the wrong day or what but the food was not good at all. With the oxtails I had maybe four or five pieces and they were all like the tip of the tail Just a bunch of sauce a bunch of rice and beans two little pieces of plantain and three spoonfuls of cabbage. Ask for additional size I was told they didn’t have enough to do a small side of anything else. I had heard some great things about this place and was like when I’m in the area let me go ahead and try it and I was highly disappointed. The beef and the chicken patty with the cocoa bread was good and that’s about it.

If you’re searching for an unforgettable taste of the islands, look no further. This Caribbean gem offers an explosion of flavor and authenticity that transports your senses straight to Jamaica with every bite.

I recently indulged in a hearty plate featuring curry goat, oxtail, cabbage, and rice & peas, and I was thoroughly impressed. The curry goat was incredibly tender, falling apart effortlessly, infused with a deep, rich curry flavor that speaks to hours of careful preparation and seasoning. Equally outstanding was the oxtail ; truly to die for, with a slow-cooked depth that bursts with bold, savory Caribbean spices.

The cabbage was a pleasant surprise: perfectly cooked, subtly seasoned, and providing a fresh balance to the richness of the meats. Paired with fluffy, fragrant rice and peas, this meal hit every note; comforting, satisfying, and utterly delicious.

Portions were generous, easily justifying the $30 price tag, and the value was matched by the warm, welcoming service. The shopkeep was incredibly friendly, offering genuine hospitality and a smile that made the experience feel even more like home. You can tell she really cares about the food that was made.

This is food made with love, heritage, and serious culinary skill. If I closed my eyes, I could almost hear the waves of the Caribbean Sea and feel the warmth of the Jamaican sun.

I highly recommend this establishment to anyone craving authentic Caribbean cuisine. It’s a five-star experience through and through. Thank you, I’ll absolutely be back and can’t wait to try the jerk chicken next!

Walked in a little apprehensive with all the mixed reviews. But lady in the front was really nice, and food was SO good! Got the oxtail and the goat curry. Both were amazing. I’ll be back without a doubt

IM MAD AS HELL
The service we received was great, the cashier was friendly and very accommodating. I ordered jerk chicken dinner, escovich red snapper, carrot cake, jerk chicken patty, beef patty and coco bread. We were told there would be a wait because of the fish and was fine with the wait. Food was ready in a timely fashion and we were thanked for our business.
The red snapper was huge, the flavor was decent, the spice was perfect and the overall dish was good. The jerk chicken was some of the driest chicken I have ever had. It didn’t taste like jerk chicken at all unless I dipped it in the sauce that accompanied it. The cake was ok and the patties and coco bread were good and fresh. I would return but I would visit earlier in the day. We visited right at closing time do that ma explain the dry chicken, the jerk sauce was very good though.

I have passed this place on many occasions and decided to stop. Glad I did because the food was delicious. The Jerk chicken was not too spicy and the extra sauce provided was very tasty. I am definitely a new customer.

I was in the area and did a quick search for Caribbean food near me. This place popped up, so my daughter and I went for a visit. We stepped in and immediately saw beef patties, carrot cake, and some cornbread. I went for a combo of Curry goat and chicken with red beans & rice, cabbage and plantains. I enjoyed all of it and I let my daughter try the goat & chicken. She liked both. She ordered the Jerk Chicken sandwich. She really liked it, but stated it wasn’t as spicy as ‘Mom makes it” – she liked it, but said she would likely try the combo I ordered next time. I ordered plantains to go for my wife. I thanked the ladies for having my goat (so many places I go for Caribbean food don’t have goat – what are they doing???). If I’m in the area again, I’ll be sure to pay another visit. I’m sure my daughter hopes she is riding with me when I am.

First time trying taste of Jamaica and was very pleased!

Georgia served me for takeout and was super friendly and helped me with my order.

I’ve been looking for good Caribbean food since I moved to the area and I just found it.

Decent level of spice but very tolerable. Amazing flavor.
Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I was really craving some Jamaican food and discovered this place near me. Went and ordered a lot of food…..I was so disappointed when I got home. I ordered jerk chicken, curried goat, and oxtails….. jerk chicken was bland (never had that before because jerk is highly flavorful), the oxtail and goat was not pleasant at all…..the rice and peas was the best part of the food i got. I’d recommend trying another Jamaican food place.
