The food is so good. The triple meat plate was very flavorful. The falafels were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The rice was perfect, not dry or clumpy with great flavor. The Arabi and fries were so filling and tasty. And the service was hands down the best.

What an amazing meal! Friendly service and great location too. There’s even a plant shop and bar. I usually like to try all the food trucks at a pod but its going to hard to go anywhere else after having the Tri Meat platter over rice.

My daughter and I loved the food and the awesome kind nature of Tamer. He was great and you can taste the pride he puts in his food. We had the chicken over basmati rice. It was accompanied by humus, salad, and tzatziki sauce. Flavors were booming and perfectly balanced. We highly recommend Taste of Istanbul!

First time trying this cart and so glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious!! Had the lamb plate (lamb over seasoned rice, small salad, hummus, naan, and more). Extremely generous portions; plenty for a second meal. And very well priced for the portion size. I was very impressed with the depth of flavors…super tasty! And the gentleman was so friendly and kind. I was being indecisive and he patiently asked questions about my preferences before making a fantastic recommendation. So glad he did…it was excellent! Can’t wait to go back!

If you’re thinking about trying this place…do it! I had the falafel gyro and it was fantastic! Very flavorful, not too dry, the perfect amount of crisp, and lots of delicious sauce. I love that it’s on a bed of cabbage instead of wilty lettuce, it adds a nice crunch. The service was excellent as well, and so is the presentation. You can tell they really take pride in their food and their business. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Authentic Turkish food is hard to find. I ived in Turkey for many years and was thrilled to find authentic Turkish food in Forest Grove. I loved the taste of the grilled chicken combined with a spicy tomatoe based sauce, which used a good amount of garlic. The pita bread was hot. The price was well worth the larger than life portions.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and the Lamb Shawarma plate was suggested. Large portions and excellent food! Extremely flavorful and the tzatziki is the best in the Portland area bar none. Had enough left over for a second meal. The Gentleman who made my lunch was very friendly and his suggestion was perfect. Definitely will be back! Thank you for a amazing lunch!!
