Dining at Taste of India in Green Bay was a delightful experience overall, with a menu that delivered bold flavors and comforting classics. The chicken curry was rich and aromatic, perfectly spiced, and paired beautifully with the garlic naan, which was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—soft, buttery, and packed with flavor. The tandoori chicken was decent, though it lacked the depth and smokiness I’ve come to expect from traditional preparations. The lamb kabobs, while tasty, felt more processed than authentic, missing that rustic texture and seasoning typical of freshly grilled lamb. On the sweeter side, the desserts were absolutely phenomenal, offering a perfect finish to the meal. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. I’ll definitely be back to try the hottest spice level they offer—having tried the medium, I found it flavorful but not quite spicy enough for my taste.

Great food and service. I dined alone and got the butter chicken. It was excellentbat medium heat level. Just the right amount of kick for me. They had an interesting lunch special. But I don’t know a ton about Indian food and was afraid I would order something I didn’t like. So I went with what I knew.

I love it here so much. I have been coming here for 18 years. The food and service are phenomenal. The only other place I have had as good of Indian food was in India. The owner stops by the our table and talks every time. We have gotten to see each others children grow up through dining at the restaurant. It’s amazing to have built a relationship like that. I recommend this place to everyone.

First time visiting and would definitely come back if we’re in the area again! Food was outstanding, and service and setting was great. Butter chicken was tasty and the naan bread was some of the best we’ve had!

I’m visiting Wisconsin on business and was craving butter chicken. I can say coming here was the best choice I made. This is the best Indian cuisine I’ve had hands down. The manager is the absolute sweetest, and the staff is super friendly. I’ll be back whenever I’m in town!

For the past few months, I’ve been ordering Taste of India on DoorDash, and I’m totally hooked! Sadly, I haven’t had a chance to try it at the restaurant yet, but I’m planning to go soon. I absolutely adore the hot lamb masala, garlic naan, and samosas. And the hot lamb biryani? Oh my goodness, it’s absolutely amazing! It feels like it’s almost become a “tradition” for me to order this every weekend. It’s like a special treat and the perfect way to end a long week. I can’t wait to finally visit and experience the food in person. Every single time, it’s such amazing food. God bless you all ♥️

I always enjoy the food and the waitress are great,! But I do notice the last four times I been there the manager or owner not sure ! Always gread everyone or ask how is everything sadly she never does that to us, is crazy to believe that even her act like that just because me and my family are Latinos 🙁 hate around here is bad:( not complaining just saying that hate is growing more and more , I think I’ll look for another place to have Indian food .( the lady who’s in the register too is the one I’m talking about ! ) again not a complaint, but not a coincidence either at first we thought it was our imagination:( but no is not ! This month i been there three times already and just last night I confirm it .:* (

They charged me for a large party and added 11.88 to my bill for myself and two adults plus my two kids who didn’t even order anything besides lemonade. They were well behaved, quiet and not messy at all. I shared little bits of my meal with them. I’m not sure why they went ahead and charged me additionally like that. Normally anywhere else gratuity is tacked on for parties of 6 or more. India bahvahan is way better. No extra charges, they go above and beyond for my family and I and when we order Togo we walk out with triple the food we got here for the same price.

I ate at Taste of India for a Saturday lunch, and it was my first time here. The decor and music are pleasant, and the staff are friendly.
My food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I had the samosas, chicken biryani (medium spice), and naan.
Portion sizes are very generous; even after eating my fill, I took more than half of the food home for later.
I definitely prefer Taste of India to the other Indian restaurant here in Green Bay!

Wait staff was kind but we waited over an hour for food and then when we checked to see how much longer we were told it’d be another 20-30 min. We had a show to get to so we left without eating. This place definitely seems to prioritize take out orders over dine in. Tons of people came and left in the time we were sitting there. Such a bummer because we love Indian food and didn’t get to TASTE IT. (Get it?)
