Came here on Wednesday at around 630, it wasn’t super busy and they sat us down quickly. As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with the scent of all the spices and my mouth immediately started watering. We decided on the chicken pakora and butter chicken and it was hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. The prices were affordable, the food was incredibly flavorful and the service was top notch. This is worth coming out of your way just to stop here. I will be back as soon as possible.

Indian food is something I absolutely crave from time to time, and this location of Taste of India—which opened before the Newport branch—was a great find. The clean and stylish interior made a strong first impression, and I appreciated the draft beer taps that let me order a fresh pint. Parking was easy, with plenty of space available.
As a restaurant that aims to serve authentic Indian cuisine, the flavors were impressively close to what you’d find locally in India, and overall, the food was excellent. The only disappointment was the garlic naan—it lacked the rich garlic aroma and could’ve been a bit more buttery. Aside from that, the balance of flavors in every dish was spot-on. I definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I love authentic Indian food and this did not disappoint. We were visiting Lincoln city from Boise and were simply amazed at the tastes, the complex flavors, and the ambiance.
My husband is vegetarian and got Aloo Gobi, and I got the Chicken Tika Masala. We shared Naan, Basmati, and Indian pickled veggies. Everything was amazing.
I will say, I wish that rice was included with entrees and not an additional cost, but that is my only complaint. We will be talking about this meal for a long time!!

Amazing Indian food here! I ordered the Tamarin whiskey sour which was delicious and had a little kick to it. For food I had the Chicken Tikka Marsala and Rosemary naan. It was all very delicious! Highly reccomend.

My goodness, everything here was fantastic. We had: Lamb Korma, butter chicken, vegetable aloo Gobi, a variety of cocktails, naan, tandoori pineapple, and paneer pakoora. Everything was incredibly good. We split between four people, and walked away very full

Good lord this place is amazing!! Everything about this restaurant is beyond my expectations. The food the people the drinks. Very much into making sure that you order what works for you if you are not used to Indian food. Never in a million years would I have thought this level of taste and quality would be at the beach. Go here … you will be amazed

My friend and I were visiting for the wknd, and checked this restaurant out! Wasn’t too busy when we came. Interior design is very pleasing to the eye, food was the bomb and service quick and friendly. I’d return just for those flaky pie crust samosas! Only warning, our dishes were “mild” and still a tad spicy. So be careful what you choose if you can’t handle the heat haha

I was visiting the coast for my birthday and am so glad I came here! I WISH there was an Indian restaurant like this in Portland, it’s better than anything I’ve had in Portland so far. The Manchurian cauliflower is spectacular. Would come back just for that.

My favorite Indian restaurant I’ve been to! The food was delicious, the decor/atmosphere was spectacular, and the service was top notch. My husband ordered Butter Chicken and I got Chicken Tikka Masala. We got some Paneer kulcha and a mango lassi to share. I want to go back to Lincoln City just so I can have this again!
