Mostly take out now since COVID. Three tables to sit and eat. I ate in. Pay cash get 10% off currently. Food and service was GREAT today. Curry with Chicken and rice. Samosa was Great. Garlic naan was perfect.

It was a fairly basic Indian restaurant in downtown Bangor. The flavors in the food were rich. However, my dish was not overly warm and I was disappointed with that. The staff were not overly engaging but did ask for your preferred level of spice.

I got takeout and I was not disappointed!
Portions: I got a few dishes and the serving sizes were bigger than I thought they would be. It is definitely enough for two meals. Plenty of rice to go around and huge pieces of chicken and veggies, ugh so yum!

Price: It is reasonable for the portion and that this is not a big chain place. I’ll gladly give money to a local place for delicious food.

Time: I thought the ordering process was efficient and I picked up the order in 15 minutes! That is speedy.

I would order from here again!

First of all it a only takeout,so dont fall for it. I would suggest anyone craving Indian food try to look around and have to drive another 40 miles, do it but not here.
We ordered paneer saag and naan. Naan was not cooked well and being a cook i can tell. Paneer saag was all other stuff from the kitchen but the saag itself. Lots of onion and tomatoes but the saag.
ONE MORE THING- it’s highly over priced compared to food and on top its only takeout. Very limited dishes you can choose from.

I always order the same thing every time we come here because I have not tried many Indian spices or exotic dishes, and I would hate to spend $16-17 on a dish that I didn’t like! It seems like the prices have gone up quite a bit since last year, I always get the Mango Chicken, but was surprised when I got my bill and saw the dish was $17 and the Garlic Naan’s that used to cost $3 were now $5. Everything on the menu has gone way up, even just a small carton of extra rice. Every time I have got our food home it’s always neatly packaged in plastic containers, the servings are a pretty good size, and my Mango Chicken is always hot and cooked perfectly. So my only real complaint would be the prices but I don’t mind coming here for an occasional splurge. As for the staff, I have always had pleasant experiences ordering from the woman who runs this place, but there is a guy who works here who is extremely rude and the food always looks like it was thrown against the wall before being boxed up. I definitely prefer when she cooks and handles my food.

Food is so friggin good. Most recently, I just picked things I’d never had. Everything is a banger. We were the only table dining in, weekday evening, but lots of people came through to pick up their takeout orders.

Currently open only for carryout. We eat Indian food a lot, and the flavor profile here was unique but very good. We were not given a choice of spice level, so our food was mild, but that was fine with me. The mango Lassi is excellent. The saag paneer was delicious but it did not come with basmati rice, which is unusual. They did not have tandoori chicken so we got chicken biryani, which was very good. Garlic naan was terrific too. Entrees were $18-20. Food did not take long, only 10 minutes or so.

‼️‼️Paid. Restaurant closed. No notice.

Ordered online for pick-up — money gone, place shut. Wasted time, no apology, no communication. This is a scammy, careless way to run a business. Totally unacceptable.‼️‼️

This is unprofessional and disrespectful to customers.

Food is definitely not fresh it is definitely microwaved, it is gross and expensive half of it was inedible. the front of house person was preparing the food. Spent 60 bucks to try it for the first time and am so disappointed. My mom didn’t even get what she ordered. Truly disappointed will not be back. Call.
To complain took the food back and was told that I would only get $40 of the nearly 100 that I spent because they only give 50% refunds. Apparently the owner is who I spoke to and he told me that there was nothing wrong with the food. They can’t even admit when they messed up. Don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your money. This place is a scam..

Authentic, delicious food. The owner served us and was kind and helpful. Usually just for take out, but they graciously agreed to serve us in there. I asked for a dish that wasn’t in the menu and they did it! Will definitely go back. Thank you!
